<p>Este texto aborda la cuestión de la constitución subjetiva desde una lectura sociosemiótica articulada con los debates del psicoanálisis contemporáneo. Asumiendo algunos supuestos de los enfoques construccionistas de las identidades personales y colectivas, el autor propone otras claves para dar cuenta de los procesos de constitución subjetiva y acuña una noción fundamental: la de re-significación identitaria. Esa categoría teórica le permite conectar la discusión contemporánea sobre el sujeto y las subjetividades con la cuestión de las narrativas.</p><p>El libro invita a pensar las narrativas no solo como un “producto” de la subjetividad o de la dinámica sociocultural, sino como las posibilitadoras del proceso mismo de constitución subjetiva y de estructuración del orden social. El sujeto no solo es un mero productor de una narración de sí, sino que a través de la adopción de múltiples posiciones subjetivas resignifica su identidad en el curso de la vida. Superando la perspectiva del sujeto como autor de su relato biográfico, el texto subraya la necesidad de considerarlo en múltiples posiciones que lo implican de modo diferente frente a la demanda de elaborar una narrativa de sí.</p>
El artículo aborda algunas cuestiones dilemáticas de orden teórico-metodológico surgidas en el ejercicio de reflexividad propio de toda investigación social de orientación crítica. El estudio de prácticas sociales clandestinas ha concitado históricamente el interés de los investigadores por sus implicancias metodológicas y éticas. Las prácticas clandestinas que abordamos remiten a la sexualidad masculina, lo que agrega otra densidad a la investigación, especialmente en lo relativo al trabajo de campo y a la interpretación de la información. En la primera parte, el texto contextualiza la investigación que origina esta reflexión en términos conceptuales y la localiza en un espacio socio-cultural específico. Posteriormente, se explicitan algunas decisiones metodológicas que estructuran nuestra estrategia de abordaje del trabajo de campo desde el enfoque etnográfico. En la última parte, se contrastan algunas prescripciones metodológicas de investigadores del campo de los estudios de la sexualidad y de autores reconocidos del enfoque etnográfico, con registros extraídos de la bitácora del relevamiento en campo, elaborada en el proceso de observación participante efectuado en escenarios de prácticas sexuales clandestinas de hombres que tienen relaciones sexuales con hombres. Esta contrastación pretende mostrar las tensiones metodológicas que debe afrontar el investigador social que aborda un objeto connotado por la clandestinidad, así como algunas cuestiones dilemáticas de orden ético.
