O presente estudo procura demonstrar a auriculoterapia como um método alternativo e complementar para a redução dos níveis de estresse, considerando que esse é um fator de risco para o desenvolvimento de patologias. Teve como objetivo realizar uma revisão bibliográfica por meio de materiais publicados nas bases de dados Scielo, PubMed e Google Acadêmico, além de livros sobre o tema para a fundamentação teórica. Foram selecionados e sintetizados em um quadro com 10 trabalhos que realizaram a prática de auriculoterapia para a redução dos níveis de estresse. Constatou-se que a maioria dos trabalhos compararam tratamentos com agulhas semipermanentes e sementes, seguido de trabalhos que compararam a aplicação da técnica por meio de tratamento individualizado e tratamento com pontos protocolares. Observou-se que a maioria dos estudos utilizaram como pontos principais os pontos Shenmen, Rim e Tronco Cerebral, além do Yang do Fígado 1 e 2. A população de estudo desses trabalhos foi quase que unanime para profissionais da área de saúde, com predomínio do sexo feminino. Apesar de cada estudo apresentar um objetivo específico, fica clara a eficácia da auriculoterapia como método alternativo para o combate do estresse.
Introdução: A fórmula floral Rescue ou Five-Flower e? a combinação de cinco essências florais para uso emergencial criada pelo médico Edward Bach, na década de 1930. Esta fórmula pode ser associada a outras terapias de energia vibracional para reestabelecer e manter o equilíbrio emocional e biológico de seres vivos. A terapia floral e? isenta de qualquer princípio ativo e não exerce ação direta sobre a dinâmica bioquímica dos corpos. Objetivo: O objetivo central deste trabalho foi analisar os padrões bioquímicos de uma população de ratos saudáveis, da espécie Rattus norvegicus, após administração oral do floral Rescue. Material e métodos: Foram utilizados 20 ratos da linhagem Wistar, 10 receberam 0,45 mL de floral e outros 10 formaram o grupo controle. Os parâmetros verificados foram: glicemia, proteínas totais, albumina, colesterol total, colesterol HDL, triglicérides, fosfatase alcalina, amilase, AST (TGO), ALT (TGP), LDH, gama GT, CK total, creatinina, ureia e, as dosagens foram realizadas em fotocolori?metro Bioplus 2000®. O LDL- colesterol foi estimado pela Fórmula de Friedewald. Resultados: Os valores obtidos foram: 73,87 - 89,33 mg/dL (ureia - controle), 61,85 - 80,95 mg/dL (ureia - floral), 199,8 - 256,2 mg/dL (glicemia - controle), 140,7 - 251,3 mg/dL (glicemia - floral), 227,2 - 294 U/L (fosfatase alcalina - controle) e 171,53 - 229,27 U/L (fosfatase alcalina - floral). Conclusões: Os valores médios de ureia, glicemia e fosfatase alcalina do controle apresentaram-se elevados em comparac?a? o aos valores de referência da literatura, contudo o tratamento com floral reduziu estatisticamente esses valores, permitindo concluir que a terapia floral exerceu atividade sobre o campo emocional dos animais testados.
