Objetivo: Conocer la frecuencia de caries en niños de 1 a 5 años y conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas de acuerdo a investigaciones realizadas en universidades de Asunción reconocidas por el Ministerio de Educación y Cultura durante los años 2000 al 2013, teniendo en cuenta los criterios de inclusión y exclusión establecidos para la realización del estudio; el 59,2% corresponden a universidades que se encuentran en gran Asunción, mientras que el 47,1% corresponden al interior del país. Se identificó un total de 29 investigaciones en niños de 1 a 5 años entre los años 2000 al 2013 referentes a caries y conocimiento, actitud y práctica; siendo más estudiada la variable caries. Los valores del ceod pudieron demostrar un inicio de caries a los 3 años 1.76 aumentando con la edad y llegando a los 5 años a 4.73. La frecuencia de caries se encontró a partir de la edad de 2 años con valores entre 1,64% a 18,8%; en la edad de 3 años entre 8 a 40%; a los 4 años entre 15,5% a 72,7% y a los 5 años entre 38,7% a 58%; 50% de las investigaciones mostraron un nivel de conocimiento y práctica desfavorable.

RESUME La formation initiale en éducation au préscolaire et en enseignement au primaire, offerte dans les universités québécoises, s'est adaptée aux nouvelles réalités véhiculées dans le Programme deformation de l'école québécoise (MEQ) depuis 2001. Pour soutenir cette réforme dans le programme initial de formation des maîtres, le ministère de l'Éducation du Québec a publié un document intitulé La formation à l'enseignement. Les orientations, les compétences professionnelles (2001).Ayant le statut d'enseignante débutante depuis l'année de parution de ces deux ouvrages, ma formation initiale n'a pas assuré mon développement, en totalité, des nouvelles compétences professionnelles attendues par le MEQ. En plein coeur de mon insertion professionnelle, je ressens un malaise au sein de ma pratique enseignante, plus spécifiquement en ce qui a trait à l'évaluation de la compétence à lire de mes élèves. Puisque la formation continue est un bon moyen mis à ma disposition pour combler cette lacune, ma question de recherche se formule ainsi : « Comment une démarche individuelle de développement professionnel permet-elle de développer ma compétence à évaluer la lecture de mes élèves ? » Les objectifs qui en découlent sont : 1) Tracer le portrait initial de ma compétence professionnelle à évaluer la progression des apprentissages de mes élèves en lecture ; 2) Utiliser une démarche individuelle de développement professionnel ; 3) Tracer le portrait final de ma compétence professionnelle à évaluer la progression des apprentissages de mes élèves en lecture.Les concepts de ma recherche sont clarifiés : le socioconstructivisme, la compétence à s'engager dans une démarch...
