Die durch Reaktion des Hydrazins (II) mit den Zimtaldehyden (I) in Äthanol in Gegenwart von HCl in situ gebildeten Pyrazoliniumsalze (III) geben mit konz. Alkali die 3‐Pyrazoline (IV) (47‐50% Ausbeute), während mit verdünntem Alkali die Hydroxypyrazolidine (V) entstehen.
Die nach bekannten Methoden dargestellten Pyrazoline, z.B. (Ia)‐(Ie), reagieren mit dem Azid (II) in wasserfreiem Chloroform zu den entsprechenden kondensierten Triazolinen (III) (50‐60% Ausbeute), deren Strukturen anhand spektroskopischer Untersuchungen und durch Abbaureaktionen bewiesen werden.
