RésuméLe Laboratoire d'Hygiène de la Ville de Paris a régulièrement mesuré la trichloramine, dans l'air, et les trihalométhanes, dans l'eau et dans l'air des piscines couvertes parisiennes. Des échantillons d'air ont été prélevés sur deux heures ; pour chaque prélèvement, la température de l'eau et de l'air, le pH de l'eau, le niveau de chlore combiné dans l'eau et le nombre moyen de baigneurs présents dans le bassin ont été consignés. La teneur moyenne en chlore combiné dans l'eau est de 0,24 ± 0,04 mg/L et celle de la trichloramine dans l'air de 182,83 ± 7,78 µg/m 3 (M ± 95 % IC). Les concentrations moyennes en THM totaux dans l'eau et dans l'air sont respectivement de 26,3 ± 2,06 µg/L et de 60,85 ± 6,34 µg/m 3 . Des corrélations positives, statistiquement signi catives, ont été observées entre les niveaux de chlore combiné et de trichloramine dans l'air, de chlore combiné et de THM totaux dans l'air, de trichloramine et de THM dans l'air, et entre les concentrations en THM dans l'eau et dans l'air. La fréquentation du bassin a une in uence signi cative sur les niveaux de trichloramine dans l'air et de THM dans l'eau et l'air. Le pH a une in uence signi cative mais faible sur les concentrations en chlore combiné. Par ailleurs, nous avons comparé les valeurs moyennes des concentrations en sous-produits de la chloration selon les différentes modalités de traitement de l'eau utilisées : chloration associée à un déchloraminateur par ultraviolets (UV), ozonation plus chloration, chloration et injection de charbon actif (ou ltration sur charbon) par rapport au traitement classique, ltration sur sable plus chloration. Les piscines utilisant un système de déchloramination UV montrent des concentrations en chlore combiné et en bromoforme, dans l'eau et dans l'air, signi cativement plus basses ; mais on observe des concentrations en THM totaux et en chloroforme signi cativement plus élevées dans les deux milieux.
