The need for an effective, efficient and creative teaching and learning process in a pandemic requires teachers and lecturers to be able to improve their ability to use technology in carrying out the learning process. This encourages community service as a form of the teaching teacher movement through empowering teachers in making learning videos. Maranatha Christian University in collaboration with Teachers for the Archipelago and STKIP PGRI initiated this activity to share with teachers throughout Indonesia. Through the strength of the community who are teachers and lecturers throughout Indonesia, the ABCD method is applied in the service of making learning videos using cellphones. The service learning method is provided by selected instructors, complementing the power of implementing community service activities. So the two service methods are the foundation of literacy in making learning videos using cellphones in the context of empowering teachers throughout Indonesia. The enthusiasm of the teachers who took part in the activity was shown by the majority expressing a desire for the activity to be held again, even though online learning was quite difficult for all participants to absorb due to various obstacles.
Education sector in Indonesia was shocked by the total change from the previously offline-based education system to online, due to the state of the Covid-19 pandemic. No country wants to experience this pandemic, but the rapid spread has changed all sectors of life, especially the education in Indonesia. Educators are required to continue to carry out online learning activities, but not all educators can create learning video content. Moving on from this problem, an online quick education was made to make learning videos using mobile phones, which was organized by Maranatha Christian University in collaboration with Guru Mengajar untuk Nusantara and STKIP PGRI Trenggalek. The material given was flyer design techniques, photo taking techniques, and making videos with Kinemaster. The postermywall and kinemaster applications used can be downloaded on the playstore on android. The activity was open to teachers and lecturers for free and guided for one month. Participants who registered were 1059 people from various district in Indonesia and were guided by 39 instructors. At the end of the activity, 510 participants (48.16%) passed with the criteria of being able to make learning videos until they were uploaded to YouTube.
Abstract: Toward the era of revolution in society 5.0 young generations need to be equipped with useful knowledge in the future. This is the basis for NodeMCU learning mentorship as one of the Internet of Things devices that is useful for controlling devices from mobile devices or remote computer peripheral. The evaluation results of the mentorship are used in two ways that are survey methods and participatory action research. The mentorship was attended by 43 students of SMA X in Bandung for two days. The results of the first and second questionnaires after comparison have increased understanding before and after mentorship by 20% - 25% obtained from the percentage of students who answered the questionnaire material correctly (Figure 6). While the results of the third questionnaire obtained an average achievement of student satisfaction above 3, which means students feel the delivery of material, facilities, and the quality of mentoring activities is worth "Good".
