Recuerdo hoy con cariño el día que reunidos en la ETSII los profesores D. Ángel María Sánchez Pérez, D. Jesús de Vicente y Oliva, D. Emilio Gómez García y yo misma, consideramos que la trazabilidad de las medidas de dureza podría ser un buen punto de partida para mi tesis doctoral. He de decir que, allí sentada, rodeada de estos profesores a los que tanto admiro, fui consciente de la importancia del momento. Sin embargo, no podía imaginar la repercusión que tendría en mi vida la decisión de ser doctor. Y la transcendencia fue a nivel personal, sí, por supuesto, pero también a nivel intelectual.El proceso ha sido largo e intenso, pero vosotros lo habéis hecho más fácil:Me gustaría expresar mi más profundo agradecimiento a mi director, el profesor D. Jesús de Vicente, por su ayuda constante, su disponibilidad y dedicación, por su gran generosidad. Realmente ha sido un honor poder trabajar a su lado.Al profesor D.
