ABSTRACTIn this study, in terms of 5 key macro-economic and financial indicators identified for the 2007-2019 period range of fragile fives countries, the method of clustering analysis non-hierarchical k-means method of grouping, it is intended to identify the group to which Turkey belongs and the other countries in that group. For this purpose, the indicators were examined on a monthly basis and the analysis was carried out for each year and whether there were periodic differences and/or sensitivity. In addition, since the traditional K-means clustering method is sensitive to initial center selection, the method was performed for all possible initial centers and compared different cluster group structures with the help of incidence and silhouette index value. According to the findings obtained from the analysis Turkey and Brazil were mostly in the same group, while India, Indonesia and South Africa were mostly in the other group together.
