Although it's known that communication started with human existence, its becoming a scientific discipline coincide with early 20th century. Because mass media became common in these years and made its presence felt especially via press during World War One. The need of researching the effect of mass media has a great share in communication to become a discipline. The years between 1920-1940, as well as its problematical sides, are known as "strong effect" period. Even such similes like "hypodermic needle" or "magic bullet" were used for this period. Nevertheless, after understanding that the effect is not strong as predicted with a research performed during 1940 presidential election in USA, "limited effect" period started in communication science history. The next process belonged to a period which shaped around the idea that audience is active and central. "Adoption of innovation model", discussed in this study, is one of the theories that showed up in this period. Communication scientist Everett Rogers firstly presented this model in his book named "Diffusion of Innovations", published in 1962. The theory is predicated on the fact that "mass media has a significant effect on diffusion of innovations through society, however this effect is not so strong and it's important to figure out which of individual impact, presence of social conditions and mass media has the biggest effect". Besides, by means of the development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), it's also a fact that we are transforming into networked information societies. Within this scope, the aim of this study is researching impacts to readiness levels of countries in the areas of social and economic issues, individual and business usage and digital content of decision making factors presented in the context of Diffusion of Innovations Theory and trying to comment the gained statistical results.
ÖZİkinci dünya savaşı sonrası kurulan yeni küresel düzen ve buna bağlı olarak yaygınlaşan iletişim ağları sayesinde, dünyada 20. yüzyılın ikinci yarısından itibaren kullanılmaya başlanan ve yaygınlaşan elektronik ödeme sistemleri ve plastik para olarak isimlendirilen kredi kartları ülkemizde de 80'li yılların başından itibaren yaygın olarak kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. 2000'li yılların başından itibaren de nakit para ile yapılan alışverişlerin elektronik para ile yapılan alışverişlerin gerisinde kalmaya başladığı görülmektedir. 90'lı yılların başında internetin ve 2004'ten itibaren de yeni medya teknolojileri ile ortaya çıkan sosyal medya dediğimiz ortamların yaygınlaşması ile bu ortamların özgürlük sağladığı ve hatta anarşi yarattığı görüşü baskın bir düşünce olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Son 5-6 yıldır ise önemle Bitcoin gibi kripto paraların ticaretinden söz edildiğini görmekteyiz. Bitcoin, onu çıkaran bir otoritenin olmadığı, kullanıcılarının karşılıklı güvene dayalı olarak alışverişlerinde kullandığı bir ödeme yöntemidir. Devlet otoritesinden ve bankacılık sisteminden bağımsız olarak çalışmaktadır. Bu açıdan da, internet ortamı için başlangıçta öngörülen özgürlük ortamı düşüncesinin bir yansıması olarak görülmektedir. Bu bağlamda, bitcoin sistemlerinin nasıl algılandığı ve girişimcilik düzeyi ile ilişkisi araştırılmaya muhtaç bir konudur. Bu çalışmada, bitcoin madenciliği, alım-satımı yapan veya ticaretini takip eden kişilerin girişimcilik düzeylerini ölçen bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Örneklem olarak konu ile ilgili Twitter kullanıcıları seçilmiştir. Araştırma, bitcoin ve benzeri kripto paralar ile ilgilenen, yatırım yapan kişilerin bu oldukça yeni ve riskli olduğu söylenen alana girmelerinin altında yatan motivasyonda girişimciliklerinin etkisini incelemek ve hangi alt faktörlerin baskın olabileceğini değerlendirmek üzere tasarlanmış bir araştırmadır. Bulgular göstermiştir ki, bitcoin madenciliği, alım-satımı yapan veya ticareti ile ilgilenen kişilerin girişimcilik puanları da yüksek düzeydedir. While the new media changes our daily life practices, it also causes some transformations in the field of marketing. Today it can be said that the real estate sector is also inevitably affected by this transformation and that it has developed new business models that include social media. Alexa is a website managed by amazon.com, which displays web traffic on a world and country basis. In this way, businesses can continuously monitor the visitor performance of their websites. In this study, the rankings of the Alexa web site were used to construct the sample of the research and in this way the visitor traffic was determined by the highest five real estate website in Turkey tracing techniques. On the other hand, the practices of real estate web sites to use social networks have been compared to the Alexa value ranks by examining them on specific networks and within defined metrics. Thus, it can be shown whether the real estate web site with the highest value metric has the same order in the Alexa valuation, and the role of social media in real estate marketing is evaluated within the dimensions of transformation. Research is essential since it makes an instantaneous evaluation of the circumstances and snaps a moment in the timeline.
