COMPLIANCE WITH MEASURES OF CONTROL OF SYSTEMIC ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION: HYPERTENSIVE PATIENTS' BEHAVIORABSTRACT: Systemic arterial hypertension (SAH) can, in many cases, be controlled with solely hygienic-dietetic measures (adequate food intake, practice of physical activities, abstinence from tobacco and alcohol, and weight control), although in other cases a concurrent use of drug therapy is required. The purpose of this study was to gain knowledge on the behavior of hypertensive patients regarding control measures.
