Objetiva-se analisar as produções científicas sobre a qualidade de vida e o autocuidado de mulheres que vivem com fibromialgia. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura realizada nas bases de dados SciELO, LILACS e MEDLINE nos meses de setembro a outubro de 2018, com recorte temporal de cinco anos. A amostra é constituída de 13 artigos sobre a temática e, a partir de associações temáticas, foi discutida em duas categorias: Qualidade de vida das pessoas com fibromialgia e repercussões da educação em saúde para o autocuidado. Conclui-se que a sintomatologia da doença, em específico a dor, foi o principal fator que influenciou negativamente na qualidade de vida das pessoas que vivem com fibromialgia. Observou-se também que, as repercussões da educação em saúde em grupo foram positivas para a potencialização do autocuidado, melhoria da qualidade de vida e mudança de hábitos e comportamentos de saúde dessas pessoas.
