A switching power converter has prominent features of small size, light weight, and high efficiency. On the other hand, it has inherently a defect of surge generation due to switching process, and especially, the common-mode noise related to the ground plane is difficult to suppress. Concerning this electromagnetic interference (EMI), a lot of discussions have been recently reported. This paper presents a measurement system, propagation mechanism, and suppression techniques of the common-mode noise in the high-frequency switching power converters.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
