In this research article Hybrid Group Acceptance Sampling Plans (HGASP) are developed for Gumbel distribution based on truncated lifetimes when the lifetime of a product follows a Gumbel distribution. For a given size of the group, the minimum number testers and the acceptance number of groups for the test termination time and particular consumer’s risk are calculated. Operating Characteristic (OC) function values are determined for different quality levels and the minimum ratios of the true average life to the particular life at given producer’s risk are determined. Extensive tables and examples are discussed for illustration purposes.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
