Abstract-The common urinal flusher, whether the button switch type or infrared detection induction, due to the water hole in the system by flushing it into the water column outflow, which cannot be evenly distributed in the urinal, resulting in poor cleaning effect. Furthermore, when a large amount of water washed down by the water hole to the urinal, due to the proliferation area of the water column is not enough, but will make the odor. The discomfort caused by toilet, and a lot of punch water will cause waste of water resources. In this study we apply TRIZ Systematic Innovation Method includes: 9-Windows, Contradiction Matrix, and 40 Inventive Principles to solve the problem. The final result shows that the improved urinal flusher devices can be used to adjust the angle to change the spraying angle of the wall of the urinal. There are two features of our design. (1) Water-saving efficiency up to 75%, each flush amount reduced from 1200ml to 300ml (2) Adjustable nozzle angle to increase the rinsing area.
Laundry drying is a daily chore that every family endures. In Taiwan it is worse as the available area is limited, urban areas are densely populated, the winters are wet, and thunderstorms often occur on summer afternoons. Improving on the traditional laundry drying rack could make it an indispensable part of modern life improving the quality of life for everyone. This study uses TRIZ to improve the traditional bamboo design. First, this study collects and analyses literature related to the traditional bamboo design. Second, it then utilizes a contradiction matrix, 39 engineering parameters, and 40 invention principles in TRIZ to find the places that need to be improved and subsequently improves them. Finally, an intelligent laundry drying rack was created using sensors to detect light and rain. These synchronously trigger the control circuit, and drive the motor, so that the laundry is smoothly moved inside from outside, making laundry drying more convenient and safer.
A bin shelving is one of the most popular furniture for storage. It not only stows materials effectively, but also increases vertical space while storing materials. It's very important to think about the load of every layer of a bin shelving. Every loading point of a bin shelving will affect the total load of the layer, structure and stability of racks. The parameter design method integrated with TRIZ and Taguchi's Method to find optimal parameters combination of every loading point of each layer was proposed. Experimental results show that the Cpk had increased from 0.53 to 1.12. The Cpk value increased significantly to the standard that will contribute to process stability and quality control.
