The breeding of japonica varieties with erect-pose panicle (EP) has recently progressed in the northern part of China, because these varieties exhibit a far higher grain yield than the varieties with normal-pose panicle (NP). A genetic analysis using the F(2) population from the cross between Liaojing5, the first japonica EP variety in China, and the Japanese japonica NP variety Toyonishiki revealed that EP is governed by a single dominant gene EP. Based on previous studies, map-based cloning of EP locus was conducted using Liaojing5, Toyonishiki, their F(2) population, and a pair of near-isogenic lines for EP locus (ZF14 and WF14) derived from the cross between the two varieties; consequently, the STS marker H90 was found to completely cosegregate with panicle pose. The H90 is located in the coding sequence AK101247 in the database, and the AK101247 of Liaojing5 has a 12 bp sequence in exon 5 replaced with a 637 bp sequence of its wild type allele. It was therefore considered that the AK101247 encodes the protein of the wild type allele at EP locus, and that the sequence substitution in exon 5 of Liaojing5 is crucial for expression of the EP phenotype. The effects of EP gene on agronomic traits were investigated using two pairs of near-isogenic lines (ZF6 vs. WF6 and ZF14 vs. WF14) derived from the cross between the two varieties. Experimental results showed that EP gene markedly enhanced grain yield, chiefly by increasing number of secondary branches and number of grains on the secondary branch. EP gene also produced a remarkable increase in grain density.
Background
At present, there are still many controversies regarding the treatment of papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC). It is worth noting that thermal ablation has become a viable alternative for patients at high risk of surgery or those who wish to receive more active treatment than active surveillance.
Objective
To investigate the economic benefits, efficacy, and safety of thermal ablation for patients with PTMC.
Methods
We searched PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and Embase for articles published from the database establishment to August 2021. All of the studies included were retrospective cohort analyses. In addition, meta-analysis was performed using the Stata15.1 versions and Review Manager5.3. Data were extracted according to the PRISMA guidelines by two professional doctors.
Results
A total of 7 articles (1582 patients) were included in our systematic review and meta-analysis. We discovered that thermal ablation could shorten the hospitalization time (SMD, −3.82[95%CI, −5.25 to −2.40]), operation time (SMD, −5.67[95%CI, −6.65 to −4.68]), cost (SMD, −3.40 [95%CI, −5.06 to −1.75]) and reduce postoperative complications (OR, 0.07 [95%CI, 0.01 to 0.44]) than surgical treatment. In addition, our study also found that compared with surgery, there was no significant difference in the recurrence rate (OR, 1.53 [95% CI, 0.63 to 3.73]) and metastasis rate (OR, 0.47 [95% CI, 0.12 to 1.86]).
Conclusion
On the premise of being safe and effective, thermal ablation has better economic benefits than surgical treatment for patients with PTMC.

In order to overcome the traditional positioning system has high cost, poor precision, demand for warehouse, container terminal management, using RSSI (received single strength) technology on the container for initial localization, then introduction of genetic DV-hop localization algorithm on the error correction. The simulation results show that improvement DV-hop algorithm improves the positioning accuracy of the node, reducing the positioning error, can make real-time monitoring for position, inventory and shift information of the goods, conducive to improving the efficiency of container management, more truly reflect the actual distribution of the containers.
