Within this research, we want to study if personality traits will be the significant predictors for entrepreneurial intention. Based on our literature surveys, which showed that personality traits are found significantly linked to entrepreneurial intention in developed countries, we want to focus on four personality traits: (1). self-efficacy, (2). needs for achievement, (3). locus of control, and (4). tolerance for risk. We collected the data from total of 200 university students in Malaysia through a self-administered questionnaire, and later analyzed using SEM PLS 3.0. We found that self-efficacy, locus of control, and tolerance for risk are indeed significant predictors, even though the need for achievement is not. Comparatively, a small sample size may lead to generalization issues, self-report bias, and cross-sectional design considered the main limitations of this study. We also revealed that tolerance for risk is the most influential factor in the entrepreneurial intention among university students. Thus, our finding contributes to the scholarly literature on entrepreneurship study in Malaysia, and provides some recommendation for universities to encourage and support entrepreneurship among students.

Till now, in the year 2021, many countries are still under restriction control, and some countries are imposing a total lockdown. In June 2021, Malaysia was facing the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic triggering a nationwide lockdown and limiting interstate travel. In July 2021, Malaysia's daily Covid-19 cases had exceeded more than 10,000 and brought up a total of 1 million cases, with a population of approximately 32-33 million. Many businesses were affected badly during the pandemic. Some big corporations were forced to shut down their productions, causing huge numbers of unemployment in the country due to layoff and contract termination. Some businesses have started to implement electronic business (e-business) and utilize social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram for advertisements to attract more buyers, especially young consumers. The purchasing power of youth consumers is relatively high in Malaysia, and this study aims to identify the causes of young consumer purchase intention using social media during the global pandemic. This study helps the local businesses to sustain their business adapt to the new norms. There are five main variables being tested in this study, and the variables were being validated using. The independent variables included in this study are perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, performance expectancy, interactivity, and intention to express empathy. Quantitative data analysis was done and concluded that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and interactivity have a significant relationship with young consumer purchase intention using social media. Interestingly, performance expectancy and intention to express empathy have no significant relationship with young consumer purchase intention during the pandemic. This study helps to create awareness for the local businesses to focus on more interactive types of marketing, making the social media platform easy to use and providing more useful information to their customers.

Traditionally, everyone uses notes and coins or even credit cards and cheques for all business transactions, resulting in several problems such as inconvenience, inefficiency, and ineffectiveness. The limitation of traditional payment may cause delay in payment, high risk of theft, and fraud transaction. To reduce these problems, an e-wallet is introduced, and it helps to reduce fraud as the data stored in the mobile wallet are encrypted. An owner can reduce the limit and receive notification on any transaction. During the global pandemic, consumers are forced to follow the restriction of movement. Stores in Malaysia are closed, and consumers begin to buy things online aggressively. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the use of e-wallet among Gen-Y during the Global Pandemic using PLS-Sem analysis. Snowball sampling was used to gather 181 respondents via online surveys. This study adopted four variables, i.e., perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, benefits to users, and trust. Of them, two (perceived usefulness and trust) are supported.
