Indonesia has fertile soil, natural resources and abundant marine resources. However, Indonesia is also not immune to the risk of natural disasters which are a series of events that disturb and threaten life safety and cause material and non-material losses. Indonesia's strategic geological location causes Indonesia to be frequently hit by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other natural disasters. From the data collected, natural disasters that occurred in Indonesia consisted of several categories, namely earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, landslides, tornados, and tsunamis. Many natural disasters in Indonesia have caused casualties, both fatalities and injuries, destroying the surrounding area and destroying infrastructure and causing property losses. The trend of increasing incidence of natural disasters needs to be further investigated to prevent the number of victims from increasing. This information can be obtained through a data mining approach given the large amount of data available. In relation to natural disaster data, clustering techniques in data mining are very useful for grouping natural disaster data based on the same characteristics so that the data can be adopted as a groundwork for predicting natural disaster events in the future. Thus, this research is supposed to group natural disaster data using clustering techniques using the k-means algorithm into several groups, in terms of natural disaster types, time of disaster, number of victims, and damage to various facilities as a result of natural disasters
Salon is a form of business associated with beauty care, face, hair, and others for both men and women. Salon became the type of business in the interest of business by utilizing social networking, ads, brochures, and websites to promote the salon. E-salon is a marketplace website which facilitates the salon in terms of delivery the salon promotion and salon service sales. Salon provides a salon service to come home and can open many new jobs. To solve this problem, a website was developed using programming language such as HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap 3, and PHP, and using MySQL or known as MariaDB for data storage. The website was developed using Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology approach. The NUFARM application is a mobile application that delivers online aquaculture management services for aquaculture cultivators by providing information / news about aquaculture, cultivated organism’s growth monitoring by delivering real-time information about cultivation condition, and providing a marketplace for buying and selling transactions for business entrepreneurs or aquaculture cultivators.several problems have been found in the aquaculture industry which is comprise of the lack of reliableinformation sources on aquaculture management, the unavailability of media that able to assist farmers on accessing information about the place’s conditions and organisms that being cultivated, there is no place for buying and selling transactions specialized on aquaculture for farmers. entrepreneur in the aquaculture business sector. The application design provides various online aquaculture management services which are manifested in the several main features. NUMonitor which provides information about the condition of the organism in real-time (in the form of temperature, dissolved oxygen levels, and pH) for the user. NUFeed which able to feed organisms with variety of settings which is able to be scheduled, automatic feeding and manual feeding. NUPeep which is a camera sensor that able to display organism condition tothe user visually. NULight as an additional feature with its function for adjusting the illumination level of for example the aquarium lights. NUShop that serves a place for trading transactions for cultivated organisms and their equipment. As well as the NUpdate feature that able to provide the latest information / news about aquaculture along with tips and tricks for aquaculture management. The learning from home (home-based learning) and working from home (work from home) policy which has been going on for more than 1 year since March 2020 after being set by the Minister of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) has brought many changes in the way to work and study for the academic community, especially students and lecturers. This is also felt by the academic community at STMIK Mikroskil, especially in Information Systems study program who changes their learning from offline to online by utilize various available application platforms such as Microsoft Teams and the Zoom application, especially for its video conferencing features as audio-visual media. With the use of both communication platforms in online learning activities, it is necessary to evaluate its user experience as information to support decision making in order to improve learning management and academic activities in university environment. However, this evaluation activity has never been carried out for the two applications that being used. This study aims to measure the user experience of Microsoft Teams and the Zoom application, especially for its video conference to support the lecturers and students in Information Systems Study Program at STMIK Mikroskil. This measurement is intended to predict and compare the ability of technology elements in the form of user experience of those two applications through an analytical study by applying the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. The target respondents are lecturers and students, especially in the Information Systems study program in the STMIK Mikroskil environment. The results showed that the comparison of the Microsoft Teams means value was superior to the Zoom application. Therefore, Microsoft Teams is a video conferencing and communication platform that is preferred by students and academics of the STMIK Mikroskil Information Systems study program compared to the Zoom application
