RESUMEN El presente artículo analiza la construcción noticiosa de “Frida Sofía”, la inexistente niña que se convirtió en el símbolo de la esperanza del terremoto que afectó a la Ciudad de México el pasado 19 de septiembre de 2017. El análisis se centra en la cobertura que realizó Televisa a través de sus noticieros de este caso; el desarrollo de la labor periodística y el rol de los medios. La investigación se llevó a cabo con base a la revisión documental, audiovisual y hemerográfica disponible de esta noticia. Se concluye que los medios masivos de comunicación estructuran la agenda noticiosa para modificar posturas y conductas respecto a la agenda social; en este caso captaron la atención de todo un país en el fantasma de una niña y su rescate, construyendo un mito mediático.
Si bien el tema de las revistas depredadoras y piratas es algo que debe llamarnos la atención y revisar con cuidado; es importante contextualizar y entender por qué llegamos a esto antes de analizar sus detalles. Los artículos científicos son la evidencia concreta de la producción de conocimiento, y hoy requisito obligatorio para la difusión de resultados de investigación. Las modificaciones estructurales que trajo la ola neoliberal de los años noventa, produjeron un cambio significativo y paulatino en la concepción de lo que entendemos como sociedad del conocimiento, donde las reformas de las políticas públicas que se vinculan con el desarrollo de la investigación y la docencia se hicieron eco del capitalismo académico, creando la idea de una universidad con visión empresarial, donde la producción científica tiene valor económico. En este nuevo escenario deben actuar las personas que se dedican a la docencia y a la investigación, un contexto plagado de cambios.
Como una forma de reflexionar en torno al nuevo paradigma editorial científico, a continuación, presento una caracterización y análisis de las revistas de investigación jurídicas en México que se encuentran indexadas en la base de datos Scopus desde el año 2008 hasta el 2018; diez años que dan cuenta de la evolución editorial académica en este ámbito disciplinar. El objetivo es identificar elementos y características específicas de estas publicaciones, derivados de su perfil y de una sistematización, que sirva para el análisis y toma de decisiones para otras revistas que aspiran a integrar este índice.
Los coordinadores del libro, Cesar Jiménez Yáñez y Rosalba Mancinas Chávez, han hecho ya una presentación en la que dejan claro que el objetivo de los trabajos incluidos aquí fue contribuir a la reflexión y al debate sobre lenguaje inclusivo, especialmente en torno a lo que significa para la escritura académica y la forma en que se puede escribir la ciencia desde otras miradas no androcéntricas.
