A pandemia da Covid-19 tem evidenciado a perversidade das relações de poder que sustentam o sistema colonial-imperialista contra a fricção de vida da biodiversidade, dos territórios e da diversidade sociocultural. Para os povos originários a crise ecológica e de saúde global, tem se somado ao aprofundamento do regime de poder do colonialismo, e em meio à pandemia, os povos ainda enfrentam invasões aos seus territórios pelo garimpo, pela mineração e pelo agronegócio. E uma vez mais são os purutuye (não indígena/branco segundo os Terena) que levam as doenças, a precarização territorial e a degradação ambiental. Diante disso, é preciso compreender o atual contexto de crise sanitária e necropoder como parte do regime colonialista, imperialista, racista, genocida e ecocida que produz a escassez generalizada, a dominação da natureza, doenças e os conflitos socioambientais, relações que ficam evidentes no uso da crise sanitária para intensificar os desmatamentos e as queimadas sobre os biomas do Pantanal, Cerrado e a Amazônia para expansão das matrizes agroextrativistas. Diante disso, este trabalho compartilha a análise dos latentes impactos da pandemia sobre os territórios Terena e a importante auto-organização desses povos para barrar a expansão do vírus nas comunidades. Essa auto-organização se fundamenta no conhecimento ancestral e na dinâmica de construção de autonomias como parte de um processo mais amplo de luta contra o regime de poder do Estado, o modo de vida dos purutuye e as doenças que os acompanham. A partir disso, enfatizamos as territorialidades de resistência dos povos originários que adubam as dimensões das lutas ancestrais e anticoloniais contra os predatórios territórios corporativos do agronegócio no Mato Grosso do Sul.
