Actualmente existen distintos sentidos brindados al término“Humanización” dentro del ámbito del parto, que entran en diálogo yen disputa por un espacio político a ser ocupado. Algunos de estossentidos son el resultado de los históricos reclamos y de la lucha dedeterminadas mujeres, de agrupaciones y de activistas del movimientofeminista. Este proceso aportó a la consolidación de las dos LeyesNacionales sobre parto (25.929 y 26.485, artículo 6 inciso “e”). Partiendode una perspectiva feminista, en este artículo realizaré una lecturaantropológica de la problematización social de los partos, incluyendoel análisis de los alcances de clase y de género que la “Humanización”del parto tiene como acto político de ciertas mujeres y agrupaciones.
Resumen A través de la tradición antropológica de la reflexividad, la presente comunicación versa sobre la circularidad de las emociones en una investigación etnográfica. Desarrollada entre los años 2012 y 2015, el referente empírico refiere a las propuestas de agrupaciones difusoras del “parto respetado” en Buenos Aires. La incorporación de las emociones “negativas” como material legible, aproxima sugerencias sobre ciertos mandatos de género basados en el lenguaje de los instintos y el destino maternal. Sin embargo, una nueva implicación con el campo permite identificar el lenguaje de los derechos y también el de los deseos, en términos subjetivos, que proponen las integrantes, habilitando configuraciones peculiares en la arena de politización del parto.
En Buenos Aires, Argentina, los activismos de mujeres cumplieron un rol fundamental en la consolidación de los derechos reproductivos, específicamente, de las leyes de parto humanizado y violencia obstétrica. Aunque no han sido reconocidas públicamente, las activistas fueron pioneras en alzar la voz y pujar por darle sentido al término. Ellas politizaron su propia experiencia de sufrimiento durante la atención del parto al nombrarla violencia obstétrica, modalidad de la violencia de género. Es más, se reconocieron como víctimas e hicieron audible los mandatos de género y las prácticas naturalizadas del sistema de atención: ser tratadas como cuerpo-objetos para la reproducción. Consideramos, pues, a la violencia obstétrica como una categoría epistémica, ambigua y que ha sido disputada políticamente en su significado por distintos actores sociales. Como objetivo principal se analizan –en clave de género y feminista- los modos en los que el sufrimiento durante el parto de las activistas fue reconocido por ellas mismas como violencia obstétrica junto a otras mujeres y se transformó en una herramienta política con alcances comunitarios. Para ello, el método etnográfico, como metodología cualitativa, permite ahondar en las reflexividades implicadas como acercamiento a lo social, a las relaciones de poder y a la cotidianidad íntima de los actores. Así, sus testimonios sobre la violencia obstétrica fueron una puerta de entrada al desarrollo de redes políticas y militancia sobre el tema. Ellas tuvieron un rol protagónico en la disputa moral por el sentido de la violencia obstétrica, en la que sus corporalidades jugaron un rol central.
