An den Tischen der Erz?hlcaf?s kommen Frauen aller Generationen zusammen, um sich von
ihren Geburtserfahrungen zu erz?hlen. Hebammen und Gyn?kolog_innen sitzen mit am
Tisch. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die einzigartigen Geschichten und das Wissen der M?tter.
Mit dem ersten Erz?hlcaf? 2015 zum Weltfrauentag am 08. M?rz in Siegburg/Bonn startet
die Erz?hlcaf?-Aktion ?Der Start ins Leben? und wird ?berall in deutschen St?dten
erlebbar sein. Sie wird durch zahlreiche gemeinn?tzige Bundesverb?nde unterst?tzt und
m?chte ein h?rbares Zeichen f?r eine neue Geburtskultur setzen.
Wie berichten Frauen ?ber das Geb?ren? Ein Forschungsprojekt geht der Frage nach, welche Rolle das
Erz?hlen in der Verarbeitung der ?Grenzerfahrung Geburt? spielt und welchen Einfluss es auf das
Verh?ltnis zwischen Experten und Laien in Deutschland hat.
Der vorliegende Beitrag stellt das bundeswei te Kooperationsprojekt Erzählcafés ‚Der Start ins Leben' vor. 2014 initiiert, will dieses Pro jekt Erfahrungen von Schwangeren und Ge bärenden, aber auch von Vätern, Hebammen und Ärzt_innen sichtbar machen und diese dem negativ konnotierten Diskurs um die po litische Situation der Geburtshilfe in Deutsch land entgegenstellen. Es werden die Entste hung, das Vorgehen und die zentralen Ergeb nisse der Aktion vorgestellt. Abschließend wird diskutiert, inwiefern die Aktion Erzähl cafés Impulse sowohl für politische Protest formen und Veränderungen als auch für so zialwissenschaftliche Methodenentwicklung (im Sinne der partizipativen Forschung) ge ben kann.
