Introduction COVID-19 pandemic has caused an impact on various sectors of life, including the education sector. During the COVID-19 pandemic, education from various levels could only be carried out online by utilizing various on-line media. In Health professional education context, one of the learning activities that must be shifted in online format was interprofessional education (IPE) program. This study aimed to evaluate students’ collaborative knowledge construction to evaluate the effectiveness of online interprofessional case-based learning (CBL) activities. Methods This interventional study using quantitative and qualitative method involved a total of 476 students; consisted of 204 medical students, 39 midwifery students and 233 nursing students; who took part online interprofessional CBL. All students were divided into 34 mixed profession groups with 14 students each. To evaluate students’ collaborative knowledge construction during CBL, data were collected using the Maastricht Peer Activity Rating Scale (MPARS). Qualitative data exploring students’ perception regarding online IPE activity and their online CBL process were collected using Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Quantitative data were analysed using statistical tests, and the qualitative data were analysed using thematic analysis. Results Students’ scores for constructive, collaborative, and motivational activities evaluated using MPARS were considered as average to high. However, nursing students scored the lowest compared to the other two fellow professions: medical and midwifery students, on all items of the MPARS. Medical students had the highest MPARS scores. Several themes could be explored during the FGD. Discussion This study revealed that students could engage in collaborative knowledge construction in interprofessional education implementing online interprofessional CBL. However, students thought that offline collaborative practice will better improve team bonding which is considered as prominent aspect for collaboration. This thought gives idea to the implementation of hybrid online offline learning for IPE.
Breast care is an act of breast care performed, either by post partum mothers orassisted by others who performed starting on the first day or two after giving birth. Thesmoothness of breast milk and breast beauty after breastfeeding is also dependent care. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between breast care in postpartum mothers with a smooth expenditure of milk in Galak Village Slahung DistrictPonorogo Regency. The method used in this study is the description of the correlation, the population inthis study were all postpartum mothers on the third day to six weeks in February-March 2017as many as 31 postpartum mothers. Sampling was done by total sampling technique withsample 31 post partum mother on day 3-6 weeks. Data analysis using Chi-Square analysis. The results of the study most of the respondents (51.6%) have breast care during thepuerperal period is less good. Post partum mother in Galak Village, Slahung Sub-district,Ponorogo Regency mostly (51,6%) have smooth expenditure of breastfeeding. There is arelationship between breast care in post partum mother with the smooth expenditure of milkin Galak Village, Slahung Sub-district, Ponorogo Regency. with p = 0.007.
Background: Stock investment has been gaining momentum in the past years due to the development of technology. During the pandemic lockdown, people have invested more. One the one hand, stock investment has high potential profitability, but on the other, it is equally risky. Therefore, a value at risk (VaR) analysis is needed. One approach to calculate VaR is by using the Bayesian mixture model, which has been proven to be able to overcome heavy-tailed cases. Then, the VaR’s accuracy needs to be tested, and one of the ways is by using backtesting, such as the Kupiec test. Objective: This study aims to determine the VaR model of PT NFC Indonesia Tbk (NFCX) return data using Bayesian mixture modelling and backtesting. On a practical level, this study can provide information about the potential risks of investing that is grounded in empirical evidence. Methods: The data used was NFCX data retrieved from Yahoo Finance, which was then modelled with a mixture model based on the normal and Laplace distributions. After that, the VaR accuracy was calculated and then tested by using backtesting. Results: The test results showed that the VaR with the mixture Laplace autoregressive (MLAR) approach (2;[2],[4]) was accurate at 5% and 1% quantiles while mixture normal autoregressive MNAR (2;[2],[2,4]) was only accurate at 5% quantiles. Conclusion: The better performing NFCX VaR model for this study based on backtesting using Kupiec test is MLAR(2;[2],[4]).
Nausea and vomiting often occur when you wake up in the morning, which is also called morning sickness. Nausea and vomiting that occur in the first trimester of pregnancy are caused by increased levels of the hormone Estrogen and Human Chorionic Gonadotropine (HCG) in serum from the placenta and can cause a decrease in appetite so that there is a change in electrolyte balance with potassium, calcium and sodium which causes changes in body metabolism. Nausea and vomiting during pregnancy affects about 80-90% of pregnant women. Ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) is the most widely used herbal therapy in the management of nausea and vomiting. The purpose of this study was to determine how effectiveness ginger was in reducing the frequency of nuesea and vomiting in pregnant women in the 1st trimester. This study uses a literature study method obtained through electronic media with keywords. There were 8 selected articles, consisting of 5 international and 3 national articles. This article provides information about the effectiveness of giving ginger to reduce the frequency of nausea and vomiting in pregnant women in the 1st trimester. The conclusions obtained from the analysis are that ginger can reduce nausea and vomiting in pregnant women in the 1st trimester.
Low birth weight babies (BBLR) is still a problem worldwide because it is acause of morbidity and mortality in the newborn, especially during the perinatal period.LBW care is good and true will improve the quality of life LBW so avoid the risk ofgrowth and developmental disorders and death. The purpose of the study to determine theeffect of health education on mother's knowledge about the care of Low Birth WeightBaby in Teratai Room Dr.Harjono Ponorogo Hospital.Pre-experimental research design with One Group Pretest-Posttest approach. The study was conducted 1-31 December 2018. The population is all mothers with LowBirth Weight Infants in Teratai Room Dr. Harjono Ponorogo a total of 37 people and asample of 31 people, with accidental sampling The independent variable is healtheducation and the dependent variable is knowledge. Instruments with quesionare.Statistical test using wilcoxon signed rank test with α = 0.05.The result of knowledge before health education is mostly 16 respondents(51,6%) enough and after health education mostly 18 respondents (58,1%) goodknowledge, p value 0,000 ≤ α 0,05 there is influence of health education to motherknowledge about care of Low Birth Weight Infant in Teratai room of RSUD Dr.HarjonoPonorogo.Nurses can improve the quality and quantity of health education activities inLotus room so that the knowledge of mother be good and can do care of Low BirthWeight at home.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
