Resumo: Este trabalho objetivou verificar os conteúdos de Botânica em livros didáticos de Biologia do Ensino Médio, analisando se o material segue o ensino sob o enfoque Ciência-Tecnologia-Sociedade (CTS). Pelo método da análise de conteúdo, categorias foram estabelecidas conforme documento avaliativo oficial dos livros e referencial teórico do ensino com enfoque CTS, para que excertos relacionados aos conteúdos inicial, principal, complementar e exercícios dos livros fossem classificados. Nesses livros didáticos, observou-se uma preocupação em adequar seu conteúdo a documentos oficiais e em apresentar aspectos relacionados ao ensino com enfoque CTS. Entretanto, o conteúdo principal ainda prioriza um ensino de caráter conceitual. É fundamental a reformulação na escrita desses livros, para que um ensino diferenciado, como é o ensino sob o enfoque CTS, voltado ao desenvolvimento da Alfabetização Científica dos estudantes, possa efetivamente contribuir para a formação de cidadãos críticos e atuantes na sociedade.
A ideia de elaboração do livro Fundamentos Teóricos e Metodológicos da Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências, teve sua origem a partir da realização de uma disciplina de Metodologia da Pesquisa, ministrado pelos professores organizadores desta obra em 2019/01 no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação em Ciências (PPGEC) da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Como avaliação da referida disciplina, os alunos foram divididos em grupos e coletivamente escreveram um texto sobre cada tipo de pesquisa que costumeiramente são abordadas em Educação em Ciências. O livro está divido em seis seções, que apresentam os principais tipos de pesquisa trabalhados em Educação em Ciências: quanto a abordagem, quanto a Natureza, quanto aos objetivos, quanto aos procedimentos ou escolha do objeto de estudo, quanto a Técnica de Coleta de Dados (Instrumentos) e quanto aos Métodos de Análise de Dados. Com essa obra, esperamos contribuir com os estudos de nossos alunos (Mestrandos e Doutorandos) que vierem a cursar essa disciplina no futuro bem como proporcionar a comunidade acadêmica uma nova obra para ser utilizada nas pesquisas em Educação em Ciências.
ResumoEste trabalho buscou investigar e analisar o quanto a comunidade acadêmica desenvolve produções relacionadas a um Ensino de Botânica diferenciado sobretudo com o enfoque Ciência-Tecnologia-Sociedade (CTS) e que favoreça a Alfabetização Científica dos estudantes. Realizou-se um levantamento bibliográfico sobre produções acadêmicas de Ensino de Botânica em uma base de dados no período entre 2012-2017. Verificou-se que há uma preocupação nas produções em melhorar o ensino de botânica, principalmente na Educação Básica, mas as produções ainda são poucas, especialmente as baseadas no ensino CTS. A maior parte das produções acadêmicas concentraram-se no Ensino Médio; as classificadas como pesquisa foram a maioria e predominaram em 2015. Em relação ao tipo de produção, os artigos completos publicados em revistas indexadas foram maioria. Seria interessante que a comunidade acadêmica investisse mais na criação de um instrumento facilitador do acesso a trabalhos referentes ao Ensino de Botânica, pois é essencial que sejam divulgados aos professores. Torna-se fundamental que essa produção continue a ser estimulada e que novos/diferentes trabalhos acadêmicos comecem, efetivamente, a provocar um Ensino de Botânica com finalidades renovadoras, como é a proposta do ensino com enfoque CTS para colaborar no processo de Alfabetização Científica, favorecendo a formação de sujeitos ativos na sociedade.Palavras-chave: Ensino de Botânica, Produções acadêmicas brasileiras, Ensino com enfoque CTS.
