Resumen
Este artículo analiza la novela Perra brava (2010) de la mexicana Orfa Alarcón para demostrar cómo el personaje femenino deconstruye y desmitifica el arquetipo del narcotraficante idealizado en la novela narco. Asimismo, busca demostrar cómo la autora crea un personaje femenino alejado de las convenciones de la narrativa criminal mexicana, que subvierte la relación dominador/dominada, ofreciendo así perspectivas alternativas de la imagen de la mujer en la narconovela, un subgénero literario que aún es dominado por los autores con una escasa contribución de las escritoras.
