Objetivo: Identificar principais dificuldades de inserção da pessoa com Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) no processo profissional, bem como, avaliar seu conhecimento sobre a Lei 8.213/91 que regulamenta seus direitos em relação ao trabalho. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo transversal, descritivo, quanti-qualitativa, conduzido em uma associação de capacitação para o mercado de trabalho para pessoa com TEA (n=22), no ano de 2022, em Salvador, Bahia. O instrumento de coleta foi um questionário semiestruturado, contemplou perguntas sobre o perfil sociodemográfico e entraves ao se inserirem no mercado. Resultados: Do total, 36.36% afirmaram que já se inserem, porém, avaliaram seu desempenho no emprego como razoável (87.50%) e relataram que não conseguem fazer todas as atividades que são delegadas (100%). Questionados sobre a Lei, 68.18% responderam que não tem conhecimento e que já sofreu algum tipo de preconceito ou discriminação só por serem autistas (87.50%). Outro sentimento relatado por 75%, é que sentem excluídos pelos colegas. Além disso, salientaram que a principal dificuldade de conseguir emprego é a falta de preparo (54.55%). Conclusões: As maiores dificuldades para inserção no mercado de trabalho foram realizar as atividades delegadas e preconceito ou discriminação. Além disso, desconhecimento dos seus direitos em relação a Lei.
Objetivou-se avaliar o conhecimento, atitude e comportamento de estudantes do curso de Auxiliar em Saúde Bucal (ASB) sobre Hepatite B, em relação aos riscos de contaminação, prevenção e condutas frente à exposição. Trata-se de um estudo transversal e descritivo, conduzido em um instituto de capacitação para ASB, no ano de 2019, em São Paulo-SP, Brasil. Aplicou-se um questionário pré-testado auto-administrado, sobre os riscos de contaminação, prevenção e condutas frente à exposição ao vírus da Hepatite B. 90,6% afirmaram que já haviam sido orientados sobre a hepatite B, porém o agente etiológico mostrou-se desconhecido para 97,0% dos alunos. 27,1% citaram a vacinação como o melhor método de prevenção; 18,6% o uso de preservativo e 17,1% o uso de EPI. A respeito da imunização, 68,9% foram imunizados; e destes, 34,9% afirmaram ter recibo 3 doses da vacina. Dentre os alunos que já atuavam como ASB, 48% disseram seguir as normas de biossegurança. Quanto ao uso de EPI, 68% afirmaram utilizá-los, sendo a luva a mais utilizada (92%). Para 46,3%, o risco de contrair Hepatite B é muito alto para esses profissionais. Há um conhecimento inadequado e uma subconscientização dos estudantes sobre Hepatite B, no que diz respeito às condutas de biossegurança e às falhas em seus esquemas vacinais. Programas de orientação contínua devem ser fornecidas a todos os profissionais da saúde, para que haja uma melhora neste quadro.
