AbstractFrom the 1970s on, Brazil passes through the large economic transformations, among them, the highlights are the production Fordist style and flexible accumulation model. This production capitalist style brought changes in the locational pattern of economic activity, that is, there was a redistribution of activity between regions of the country, changing the Brazilian productive structure of mesoregions and generating inequalities between them. In this meaning, this paper analyzed the localization and spatial redistribution of economic activities among the mesoregions of Brazil in 1895 and 2010. Therefore, this study used regional analysis methods, noting that there are differences in the spatial pattern of each activity. In addition, the results of the redistribution coefficient indicated that the activities of mining, agriculture, industry
