The presence of women in Cameroonian cinema begins from its origin. However, this
presence is conditioned by men who define their role within this ecosystem. This article is
aims at describing the discursive constructs produced by men on women within this system
by portraying how they participate in its domestication and how these discursive products
impact on filmmaking activities.
