Introducción: El presente estudio muestra las percepciones que tienen los llamados «Guachimanes» acerca de sus condiciones laborales de informalidad en el campo de la seguridad en Costa Rica. A pesar del cargo tan importante que desempeñan estas personas y de la alta percepción de inseguridad en el país, poco se conoce acerca de quiénes se encargan de la seguridad de los espacios físicos y mucho menos de cuáles son sus condiciones laborales. Objetivo: El artículo explora las experiencias en las condiciones de trabajo informal en el campo de la seguridad privada del migrante nicaragüense, para poder así describir algunos temas claves desde sus propias vivencias de tal manera que se pueda evidenciar y reflexionar acerca del ambiente de trabajo además de carencias en sus derechos laborales. Método y técnica: Este estudio es de carácter exploratorio y de naturaleza cualitativa. Los datos fueron compilados a través de un instrumento metodológico de entrevistas semiestructuradas en distintos barrios de la Gran Área Metropolitana (GAM), elegidos mediante un rastreo en el campo, se buscaba directamente barrios de clase media alta en los que estuvieran presentes las casetillas las cuales vienen a ser el lugar de trabajo de las personas encargadas de la seguridad de los espacios físicos. Este estudio tiene como objetivo generar reflexiones acerca del “deber ser” de los inmigrantes nicaragüenses desde su representación masculina, las consecuencias personales y colectivas que acarrean estas representaciones. Se analizan las condiciones laborales desde el rol hegemónico dictado por la normativa socializada, como proveedor del hogar, así como las percepciones sobre su vida actual y la que tenían antes de migrar. Para ello, se efectuó un estudio exploratorio en el que se tomaron entrevistas realizadas a 50 personas inmigrantes nicaragüenses que trabajaban en seguridad privada informal en el GAM (Gran Área Metropolitana) durante el 2020.
La llegada del COVID-19 durante el 2020 conlleva una serie de medidas, destacando la suspensión de actividades presenciales (sociales, laborales, educativas, entre otras) para ser ejecutadas de manera remota. Ante ello, el COLYPRO se interesa en diagnosticar las condiciones y competencias de la profesión para el desempeño docente durante la ejecución de las medidas iniciales establecidas por el Ministerio de Educación Pública por medio de una consulta nacional vía formulario digital. La población docente participante describe una serie de características particulares en las que se concluye que no existe una preparación adecuada en su formación profesional para desarrollar prácticas docentes en modalidades no presenciales, aspectos que inciden en el desarrollo de la formación educativa de la población estudiantil costarricense. Por consiguiente, es necesario hacer una revisión de las competencias docentes relacionadas a las modalidades no presenciales como la educación virtual, detalles relacionados a la formación inicial docente, así como fortalecer los procesos de formación continua por las diversas instituciones involucradas.
El amor romántico es uno de los procesos más interesantes y complejos,tanto social como individualmente. Definirlo de una sola forma, es aún máscomplejo. Sin embargo, todas las personas lo hemos experimentado de una uotra forma. Lo encontramos en todas esferas sociales y en todas las etapas dela vida, generando sensaciones que, posiblemente, sean únicas y particulares.Nadie sabe cómo ni en qué momento nos ha llegado el amor, pero lo vivimos,y acumulamos experiencias que nos han dado grandes satisfacciones. Pero,¿cómo nos enamoramos? ¿Cómo aprendimos a diferenciar lo que era amorcon respecto a cualquier otra sensación o emoción? Este artículo se basa enla premisa de que nadie nos ha enseñado a amar, y nuestros procesos socialesnos han permitido construir fantasías y mitos sobre el enamoramiento, loscuales nos marcan en cada una de las experiencias románticas de pareja, a talnivel que, cuando se presentan dificultades durante la relación, no sabemoscómo resolverlas, pues pensamos que el amor eterno será perfecto. Ante ello,el objetivo de este artículo es dar continuidad a las reflexiones realizadasen el artículo “Amor, enamoramiento y el cuerpo” (2017), pero enfocandolos procesos de crisis, rupturas y desenamoramiento que pasamos todas laspersonas, tomando como referencia la música “plancha” latinoamericana.
El abordaje metodológico es fundamental en cualquier proceso de investigación, ya que el desarrollo de los procesos de recolección de información permite la construcción sistemática adecuada de resultados que responden los objetivos. Este artículo se centra en la herramienta metodológica del grupo focal, la cual ha demostrado su utilidad como técnica de investigación en diversos contextos y para múltiples disciplinas. A pesar de esto, la literatura sobre su desarrollo en el campo de la Administración Educativa ha sido escasa. Por tanto, se reflexiona acerca de la propuesta teórico-metodológica y se detallan los procesos de organización y planificación del grupo focal. Además, se hace una reflexión a partir de un primer taller, planteado dentro de la investigación que realizan, en conjunto, el personal de la carrera Administración Educativa de la Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED) y el Colegio de Licenciados y Profesores en Letras, Filosofía, Ciencias y Artes (Colypro), para el análisis de la gestión e indicadores de calidad con personas administradoras educativas.
