La biotecnología es la obtención de los compuestos biológicos de gran interés industrial que adquirido una gran tendencia en los procesos de síntesis químicos. La utilización e implementación de pigmentos vegetales en el campo de la biotecnología ha desarrollado diferentes aplicaciones muy amplias que al paso del tiempo se han ido perfeccionando. Las antocianinas y los carotenoides son los colorantes más importantes de las frutas y verduras rojas, son aditivos que le dan al producto el color deseado y esperado, pertenecen al grupo de los flavonoides, también son glucósidos de antocianina con un gran cambio estructural, tienen propiedades antioxidantes, son efecto que reducen el daño provocado por los radicales libres y el daño oxidativo relacionado con la actividad, ya que son estructuras muy sensibles a la temperatura, el pH y la luz, así también empleado nuevas tecnologías las cuales se han ido documentando en diversos artículos científicos. La utilización de los diferentes métodos de extracción de pigmentos permite un beneficio correcto permitiéndonos ofertarlos en las industrias alimentarias y textiles. El objetivo de esta revisión es indagar sobre la biotecnología en la extracción de pigmentos vegetales, para uso industrial y textil de manera bibliográfica.
El propósito del estudio de revisión bibliográfica es analizar el biocombustible obtenido a partir de residuos orgánicos como parte de la alternativa verde para ayudar al medio ambiente, la biotecnología brinda diferentes formas de generar energía renovable, entre las que destaca la producción de bioetanol. El proceso de obtención del biocombustible es la etapa de fermentación del alcohol, que es una reacción biológica que se lleva a cabo en ausencia de aire, que convierte los azúcares en alcohol (C2H6O) y dióxido de carbono (CO2). El desarrollo de los combustibles fósiles es la base de la sociedad, siempre que sean fuentes de energía renovables obtenidas a partir de residuos orgánicos, lo que menciona al banano, fuente importante para la producción de bioetanol, por contener un alto contenido en carbohidratos. Los biocombustibles son una fuente de progreso a nivel industrial y agrícola, y una opción energética de origen renovables y la reducción de gases efecto invernadero que se da por de la descomposición de desechos orgánicos la cual provoca que sea una prometedora opción para la suplencia de combustibles fósiles para la valorización energética de residuos orgánicos en áreas despobladas, urbanas y agroindustriales.
A menudo mueren muchas personas a nivel mundial a causa de enfermedades crónicas como la diabetes, esto se debe a los malos hábitos alimenticios y a una alimentación excesiva con alto contenido de carbohidratos. Los alimentos funcionales que aportan a una dieta con alto valor nutricional y que contienen compuestos biológicamente activos pueden reducir significativamente los trastornos de ansiedad y enfermedades relacionadas a la hipertensión y diabetes; sin embargo, dichos alimentos tienen muy poca acogida por las personas debido a sus características organolépticas que no son muy gustosas, a esto se le suma los pocos avances científicos he investigaciones. La diabetes mellitus es un trastorno causado por el exceso de azúcar en la sangre, esto se debe a que el organismo no segrega la suficiente insulina para satisfacer su propia demanda. Cabe recalcar que, la fisiopatología es causada por la pérdida de secreción progresiva de insulina o una resistencia por parte de las células β, esto se puede diagnosticar como hiperglucemia que puede desatar en complicaciones crónicas.
Los residuos agrícolas se depositan sobre el suelo cumpliendo el sigueiente ciclo: primero descomposición, segunda humificación y por último la mineralización del humus característico de la evolución de la materia orgánica del suelo En los ecosistemas naturales los residuos suelen proceder de la vegetación herbácea, arbustivo, trepadora y arbórea, así como los generados por la fauna. Con referencia al sector textil, la globalización de la moda presenta cambios en el consumo y por ende en las condiciones de producción, transformación, transportes y comercialización, provocando inequidades y exclusión de pequeños productores. mediante este nuevo planteamiento de la reutilización de los residuos orgánicos, se ha brindado una opción diferente para obtener fibras textiles de alta calidad y que cumplan satisfactoriamente los requerimientos que exige la normativa de calidad. Para la protección de los recursos esenciales, existen soluciones que se vinculan con la puesta en marcha de medidas científicas y tecnológicas, cambios de comportamientos, estilos de vida y políticas. Por lo tanto, es muy importante que se tenga alternativas de obtención de fibras que contribuyan en la apmliación de la visión de los artesanos y consumidores. La nueva herramienta para la producción de fibra textil a base de residuos orgánicos es que nos brindaría una reutilización de residuos que normalmente lo desechamos y que a su vez estos residuos provocan un alto porcentaje de contaminación ambiental, si miramos con mayor detalle esta nueva producción nos ayudaría a controlar satisfactoria mente esta problemática que nos da los residuos orgánicos.
La creciente contaminación de aguas residuales en la agroindustria tiene un efecto negativo tanto en el agua como en el suelo, esto ha venido en aumento como resultado de la explotación en el volumen de derrames residuales. En la presente investigación se presenta información derivada de investigaciones sobre el cultivo de Spirulina sp en aguas residuales agroindustriales. La biomasa vegetal es muy importante para la cadena trófica, como fuente de proteína para los animales terrestre. Por ello, el uso de la microalga Spirulina sp, ayudará a eliminar factores nocivos como; Insecticidas, herbicidas y otras plagas, porque ayudan a concentrar el compuesto tóxico, sin afectar su actividad biológica, también son útiles en la liberación de O2. Asimismo, se explicará la función de la microalga Spirulina sp a través de una búsqueda bibliográfica de otros estudios referente a esta variable, donde enseñan que se debe realizar su cultivo a nivel de laboratorio. Se pudo concluir que las microalgas como Spirulina sp como efluentes secundarios para el tratamiento de agua industriales, es laopción sostenible, eficiente y económico, al visualizar un buen resultado en biomasa con un 0.11 g/L, también que en las aguas contaminadas su revolución de nitrato es de 82% y en la remoción de fosfato supera el 84% demostrando eficacia como biorremediadores de fosfato, al mismo tiempo, se evita utilizar aireación, así como los bioproductos que proporcionan un valor agregado al bioproceso.
