<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">O trabalho foi desenvolvido com o objetivo de caracterizar a qualidade fisiológica de sementes crioulas de feijão comum cultivadas nos municípios de São João-PE, Lajedo-PE, Caetés-PE e União dos Palmares-AL. As sementes foram doadas por agricultores familiares das respectivas cidades. O trabalho foi conduzido no Laboratório de Propagação de Plantas pertencente ao Centro de Ciências Agrárias (CECA), Campus Delza Gitaí, da Universidade Federal de Alagoas (UFAL). Os parâmetros avaliados foram: teor de água (TA), peso de mil sementes (PMS), primeira contagem de emergência (PCE), emergência (EMER) de plântulas, índice de velocidade de emergência (IVE), comprimento da parte aérea (PA) e raiz e massa seca de plântulas. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi em blocos casualizados, com quatro repetições de 50 sementes por tratamento. As variedades crioulas de feijão comum apresentam percentual de emergência acima dos padrões mínimos exigidos para comercialização. O Enterolobium contortisiliquum (Vell.) Morong., conhecida popularmente como orelha-de-negro ou tamboril, pertence a família Leguminosae-Mimosoideae, sendo utilizada na construção naval e civil e na recuperação de áreas degradadas. A luz e temperatura são fatores abióticos que podem interferir diretamente no crescimento de plântulas. O experimento foi conduzido em laboratório pertencente ao Centro de Ciências Agrárias/UFAL objetivando avaliar a influência da luz e temperatura na germinação de sementes de E. contortisiliquum. As sementes foram submetidas à temperaturas de 20 e 30 ºC (constantes) e 20-30 ºC (alternada), sob presença e ausência de luz. As características avaliadas foram: primeira contagem de germinação, germinação, Índice de Velocidade de Germinação (IVG) e massa seca de plântulas. As sementes de E. contortisiliquum germinam e as plântulas se desenvolvem em diferentes condições de luminosidade e temperatura. As temperaturas constantes de 20 e 30 ºC e alternada de 20-30 ºC na presença de luz e 30 ºC na ausência são recomendadas para o teste de germinação e vigor das sementes da espécie em estudo.

Copyright© Autor, 2018. RESUMO: Nos últimos anos, pesquisas farmacológicas tem evidenciado o potencial terapêutico de algumas espécies da Família Cyperaceae. Desta forma, o presente trabalho foi realizado com o objetivo de analisar a composição fitoquímica e determinar os flavonoides totais a partir dos extratos hidroalcoólicos de Cyperus iria L. e Cyperus articulatus L. O material vegetal foi coletado na Serra Dois Irmãos, Viçosa, Alagoas, no mês de janeiro de 2018 e as exsicatas foram depositadas no Herbário do Instituto do Meio Ambiente de Alagoas (IMA-AL). Posteriormente, foram preparados extratos hidroalcoólicos a base das partes aéreas (PA) e partes subterrâneas (PS) das duas espécies coletadas. Da amostra obtida dos extratos brutos de C. articulatus e C. iria, separou-se 35,0 ml para a prospecção fitoquímica. O conteúdo total de flavonoides foi determinado usando o método espectrofotométrico com reação de cloreto de alumínio (AlCl3) a 5% em metanol. Os resultados referentes as prospecções fitoquímicas dos extratos das partes aéreas e subterrâneas de C. iria e C. articulatus apresentaram alguns compostos químicos, tais como: fenóis, taninos flobafênicos, catequinas, flavanonas, flavonóis, xantonas, flavononóis e alcaloides. Em relação ao doseamento de flavonoides totais, evidenciou-se que os extratos da PA possuem um teor de flavonoides mais elevado do que na PS. Assim, sugere-se que novos estudos sejam conduzidos para avaliar as atividades biológicas das espécies estudadas. PALAVRAS-CHAVE:Cyperaceae. Constituintes químicos. Flavonoides.
