<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">As arboviroses transmitidas pelo <em>Aedes aegypti</em> tem se constituído um grande obstáculo para a saúde pública no mundo. Assim, o presente artigo objetiva identificar tendências de mercado e previsão de novas tecnologias para controle ou erradicação do <em>Aedes aegypti</em>, e para alcançar essa premissa, a prospecção foi realizada na base de dados do Orbit Intelligence, cuja palavra chave: “<em>Aedes aegypti</em>”, deveria estar no titulo e resumo, mapeando noventa e oito patentes ativas, com sessenta e três publicações entre 2011 a 2015, cujos responsáveis variam entre instituições privadas e Universidades, e as tecnologias pertencentes às sessões Y, A, C da classificação CPC. No decurso da prospecção, ficou evidente que o mercado está priorizando a substituição do controle químico tradicional por tecnologias menos agressivas e que o Brasil é um potencial polo consumidor. </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"> </span>UPRO</p>
