Gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GISTs) are the most common mesenchymal neoplastic lesions of the gastrointestinal tract. Since the duodenum is a rare location for GIST, diagnosis and treatment can be challenging due to the complex anatomy of this region. The case of a 53‐year‐old male patient with obscure gastrointestinal haemorrhage caused by a duodenal GIST, in which complete surgical resection was performed successfully, is reported.
