Objetivo: Apresentar a relação da infecção pelo SARS-CoV-2 com o tromboembolismo pulmonar, evidenciando assim, a importância dos exames de imagem no auxílio do diagnóstico desta patologia, enfatizando, as principais técnicas utilizadas, tais como: Radiografia, Tomografia Computadorizada e Angiografia Pulmonar. Metodologia: O presente estudo trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura de caráter descritiva e qualitativa, nas bases de dados eletrônicas Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), PubMed (MEDLINE), foram incluídos artigos publicados exclusivamente no ano de 2020. Resultados e Discussão: A COVID-19 é uma infecção viral respiratória que pode evoluir para doença trombótica ou formação de tromboembolismo, pois está associada ao aumento de quimiocinas e citocinas pró-inflamatórias, que levam ao aumento da permeabilidade vascular, entre outros. Devido a incidência de doenças trombóticas em pacientes acometidos pelo novo coronavírus, tem-se utilizado os exames de imagem, dentre eles, o Raio-X e TC de tórax apresentam melhores resultados evidentes. Contudo, a TC apresenta especificidade e sensibilidade superior se comparada a Radiografia. Conclusão: Concluiu-se que a COVID-19 provoca alterações hematológicas que predispõem a formação de tromboembolismo, diante dessas alterações faz-se necessário a utilização dos exames por imagem, sendo eles imprescindíveis para a confirmação do diagnóstico.
Sepse é uma condição sistêmica que gera resposta inflamatória exacerbada nos pacientes, e mesmo com os avanços na saúde, ela ainda é uma das principais causas de internação e mortalidade em UTIs. O presente artigo tem como objetivo verificar a aplicabilidade dos principais marcadores dentro do manuseio clinico, identificar alterações dos biomarcadores ligados à sepse e correlacionar os marcadores bioquímicos e hematológicos durante o curso clinico da sepse auxiliando no diagnóstico e prognóstico. Para compor este estudo foi utilizado como base metodológica pesquisas bibliográficas, descritivas e qualitativas dos últimos 5 anos, utilizando os descritores "biomarkers", “sepsis” e “diagnosis” nas bases de dados do PubMed e LLILACS. A Proteína C Reativa (PCR) e Procalcitonina (PCT) vem sendo amplamente utilizada, assim como a razão neutrófilo/ linfócito e contagem de RDW, MDW e plaquetas. Foi observado marcadores com papeis importantes nas fases da doença, como a PCR encontra-se na fase aguda e a PCT que está relacionada com a eficácia dos antibióticos. Relação neutrófilo/linfócito com o MDW geram reações pró inflamatórias e o RDW sugeriu um mau prognóstico.
Introdução: O vírus HPV está associado a 90% dos casos de câncer de colo de útero e apesar de existir 200 tipos diferentes deste vírus, apenas dois possuem o maior índice de incidência, são eles: HPV 16 e o 18. Objetivo: O presente trabalho teve como intuito identificar os principais fatores genéticos virais que estão relacionados ao surgimento do câncer de colo uterino. O estudo é caracterizado como uma revisão sistemática e analisa os mecanismos de ação de cada fator genético e as principais consequências a nível celular que são essenciais para o desenvolvimento da neoplasia, destacando também os sinais e sintomas resultantes. Metodologia: Para a construção do trabalho, foram utilizados artigos publicados entre os anos de 2011 e 2021, encontrados em diferentes bases de dados como PubMed e Scielo, além de teses e dissertações de respaldo nacional. Resultados: Os vírus HPV 16 e 18 estão presentes em 70% dos casos deste tipo de câncer, estimativas sugerem que por ano têm-se 570 mil novos casos em todo o mundo. Dos seis genes virais precoces (E1 ,E2, E4, E5, E6 e E7) apenas três (E5, E6 e E7) estão diretamente relacionados ao desenvolvimento da doença. Conclusão: Os denominados oncogenes ou oncoproteínas E5, E6 e E7 bloqueiam os principais mecanismos celulares que têm como função suprimir o surgimento da neoplasia. Com base nos dados, observa-se que há grande importância e necessidade da discussão dos fatores genéticos, possivelmente visando nortear futuras pesquisas relacionadas às abordagens terapêuticas.
