An essential aspect of today’s companies is to convert their knowledge into innovative applications that have a sustainable effect; therefore, this study focuses on determining the relationship between the three mentioned constructs. To verify this, a questionnaire was applied to 492 companies in the tourism sector in southern Sonora, Mexico, whose information was captured in SPSS and analyzed with structural equations in the SmartPLS software. The main findings affirm that knowledge management has a direct, positive, and significant relationship with sustainability and innovation, as well as a positive and direct relationship between innovation and sustainability. Companies can focus on knowledge management that will generate innovation and in turn will be distinguished by achieving sustainability, with a possible generation of competitive advantage, as well as sustainable innovation.

Sustainability in the management field has several benefits including improvements in food quality competitiveness, responsibility and trust. Additionally, has been related not only to improving the image of organizations but also to increasing their value. However, this concept is multifaceted and diverse, and sometimes an incongruity appears when business leaders just want to increase their sales. Consequently, corporate governance has emerged as a topic connected to the establishment of agreements and the implementation of improvements in three dimensions: environmental, social and economic. This essay intends to explore the benefits, challenges and opportunities of sustainability and corporate governance to demonstrate the desirability of incorporating these topics into organizational management. Additionally, different models of sustainable governance are described to identify their elements and the similarities among them. We conclude that collaboration is key in all models and that it is necessary to broaden theoretical development to enable the implementation of best practices of corporate governance and to ensure sustainability.

Summary The topic of corporate sustainability has gained importance in recent years; unfortunately, confusion persists as to what it represents for businesses and academics. This review of the literature aims to analyse concepts and models related to corporate sustainability and to emphasize the most representative recent findings regarding the benefits, challenges, and opportunities of corporate sustainability. First, a series of benefits are identified, including improved quality, image and reputation for organizations. Second, challenges are recognized, such as the high cost of investment and the lack of consideration of cultural factors, collaboration and innovation. Opportunities are then presented, for example, the implementation of sustainability through life cycle management, the “Eden Project” and analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT), among others. Finally, the need to achieve the benefits, take advantage of the opportunities and face the challenges of corporate sustainability in order to balance environmental, social and economic development is highlighted.
Adoption of information technologies is determined by several factors, trained human resource and the organizational structure are one of them. The aim of this research is to examine whether the human resources and the organizational structure influence on adoption of information technologies between owners and managers of SMEs dedicated to the distribution and sale of software services of the most important cities in Sonora. The methodology used was: Causal - correlational, cross section, not experimental and quantitative. The collection of information was through a survey designed by researchers with a Likert scale of five levels; the sample was represented by 35 SMEs. The data were analyzed through the Modeling of Structural Equations with Smart PLS software. The research evidence reveals that having trained personnel with a well-defined organizational structure influence on adoption of information technologies and contributes to the knowledge of academics and researchers who develop research in SMEs.
A study with a quantitative focus was carried out on 140 small companies in the commerce sector of Ciudad Obregón Sonora, which sought to achieve the objective of analyzing the impact of the company's resources and transformational leadership in the process of strategic management; which allowed an analysis of the strategic situation of these companies. For the scope of the objective, the process of the scientific method was used, where a 36-question instrument with six levels of Likert scale was applied, and the SMART-PLS Model, Structural Equations, was used for statistical analysis, where the Resources variable was observed to have a positive, direct and highly significant effect on the Strategic Management variable, on the other hand, Transformational Leadership has a positive and direct but not statistically significant effect on the Strategic Management variable, Strategic Management, (a.k.a. .218, p<-090 n.s.). This research concluded that the entrepreneur is unclear about his leadership and that when a strategy is formulated and executed efficiently through the correct allocation of resources at each stage of it, a successful situation is achieved in the company's strategy.
