Folksonomies are becoming a widely used tool since they are simple and quick to categorize resources in a flat bottom-up structure. However, due this kind of plane structure and the free vocabulary used for tagging, there are some drawbacks mainly for the information retrieval by the users. This paper presents a proposal for the evolution of an ontology from an user's tagging data, which creates several levels structure from the tags' plane structure, seeking to increase the capacity of inference on folksonomies, reducing the information overload and the cognitive effort of the users to recover the information they want.
