La escuela constituye un contexto natural en el que las estrategias comunicativas de los docentes en su interacción con los alumnos son esenciales para el desarrollo de la competencia oral de estos. El objetivo del estudio es contribuir a la mejora de la práctica docente de maestras en relación con la competencia comunicativa oral mediante el uso de una herramienta digital. Participan 8 maestras y sus grupos de alumnos de educación infantil y primaria de 6 escuelas de Cataluña, de las cuales 5 son públicas (2 ordinarias y 3 cíclicas) y 1 privada (especial). Del conjunto de maestras, 4 participan como grupo de intervención y 4 como grupo de comparación. Durante 6 meses, las 4 maestras de los grupos de intervención utilizaron la herramienta para autoevaluar sus prácticas, tomar decisiones para mejorarla e introducir cambios. Cinco sesiones de clase de cada maestra fueron observadas y evaluadas por las investigadoras. Las evaluaciones de las sesiones de clase dan lugar a diferencias significativas entre las puntuaciones obtenidas por las maestras que participaron en el proceso de desarrollo docente y las que no lo hicieron. Se concluye que la herramienta digital ha contribuido al desarrollo profesional de las docentes y a la mejora de la competencia comunicativa oral de sus alumnos. Las implicaciones que se derivan de esta investigación se centran en la necesidad de formar a los docentes en el área de la enseñanza de la competencia comunicativa y lingüística de los alumnos con la ayuda de la tecnología digital.
Este artículo presenta algunos modelos de relación entre tiempo y explicación inductiva. Sobre esta base el tiempo se define como sucesión y la explicación inductiva se restringe a vinculaciones entre eventos sucesivos. Analizamos esta relación desde el punto de vista epistemológico, dibujando algunos patrones triádicos inspirados en la pragmàtica de Peirce, a fin de conectar la explicación causal con las ideas de sucesión, cambio, movimiento, organización y conducta. Examinamos estos patrones en las Ciencias Naturales y Sociales y los valoramos a la luz de los debates sobre causalidad, centrándonos en la amplia banda de elecciones entre descripción y explicación y distinguiendo entre interpretaciones secuenciales orientadas al pasado o al futuro. En este contexto de análisis representamos el núcleo de una interpretación secuencial inductiva como una tríada "causa-conducta/acción-función", que apunta tanto a antecedentes como a efectos. Finalmente, proyectamos este modelo en el nivel semiótico de la interacción y la cultura. La subjetividad humana puede estudiarse científicamente. La investigación del comportamiento puede enfocarse sobre lo que se dice o lo que se hace, pero los científicos sociales y comportamentales dependen del habla y del significado para acercarse al mundo privado del sujeto. Además, para acceder a la subjetividad, sus observaciones y registros deben centrarse en interacciones dialógicas, pues la comunicación entre científicos y sujetos marca el mejor camino hacia las experiencias y representaciones de los segundos. Esto ubica necesariamente la indagación de la subjetividad en la metodología cualitativa y en situaciones de observación participante. En éstas la objetividad adquiere un valor relativo, derivado no sólo del informe del investigador sino también del relato del sujeto. Por ello es inevitable una distinción clara entre la subjetividad del observador y la del observado, de modo que las consecuencias metodológicas de la asunción de una y otra son diversas, mas no obviables. Comentamos dos de estas consecuencias: la validación émica de las interpretaciones del investigador y la negociación de las diferentes visiones que diferentes observadores tienen de un fenómeno.
