El problema de investigación de la presente Tesis doctoral consiste en analizar las representaciones sociales (RS) sobre discapacidad y trabajo de las personas con discapacidad (PCD), sus articulaciones y las transformaciones que las inclusiones en un empleo competitivo formal público promueven en dichas representaciones. Para abordar este problema se analiza el caso de las PCD incluidas en Vialidad en 2010, en el marco de la política pública de promoción de empleo “SeCLaS” (2010-2015) del Ministerio de Trabajo de la provincia de Buenos Aires. A los fines de realizar el mencionado análisis, nos proponemos en primer lugar identificar las RS sobre discapacidad en el marco de las trayectorias biográficas (laborales y de discapacidad) de las PCD incluidas por el SeCLaS en Vialidad en mayo de 2010. En segundo lugar aprehender las RS sobre trabajo en el mismo marco. En tercer lugar estudiar las articulaciones entre las RS sobre discapacidad y sobre trabajo. Y por último analizar las transformaciones que las inclusiones en un empleo competitivo formal público en Vialidad promueven, en dichas representaciones para las PCD entrevistadas. El enfoque metodológico utilizado es cualitativo. La técnica de recolección de información privilegiada en los estudios sobre RS y particularmente en este estudio es la entrevista biográfica, complementada con el análisis de documentos, entrevista a informante clave y la observación participante. Se trata de un estudio diacrónico retrospectivo de caso basado fundamentalmente en treinta (30) entrevistas biográficas que permiten analizar las RS sobre discapacidad y trabajo en el marco de las trayectorias biográficas (de discapacidad y laborales respectivamente) del colectivo estudiado, recuperando sus significados a partir del presente y mirando hacia el pasado. La Tesis consta de tres (3) partes, ocho (8) capítulos y la conclusión. En la primera parte de la Tesis presentamos categorías teóricas elegidas para nuestra investigación: representaciones sociales, discapacidad y trabajo. En la segunda parte desarrollamos el enfoque metodológico adoptado para el presente estudio. En la tercera parte analizamos el caso particular de las personas con discapacidad que fueron incluidas laboralmente en sus primeros empleos competitivos formales públicos por el SeCLaS en la Dirección de Vialidad en mayo del año 2010. Esta parte consta de cuatro (4) capítulos de campo, dos de ellos están destinados al estudio de las RS sobre discapacidad. El primero se centra en las construcciones sobre la misma que circulan en los distintos momentos analíticos de las trayectorias de discapacidad, comprendiendo la familia de origen, la exogámica y la laboral. El segundo se centra en las RS sobre discapacidad, significada esta última como universo homogéneo (“la discapacidad”) frente a las alteridades que conforman la “normalidad” y como universo heterogéneo que configura distintas posiciones al interior de las propias discapacidad/es respectivamente. Los dos capítulos restantes de la tercera parte se enfocan en las RS sobre el trabajo de las personas con discapacidad que se desempeñan en empleos competitivos formales públicos en Vialidad. Ambos capítulos abordan los distintos sentidos en torno al trabajo, en el marco de sus trayectorias laborales, entre los que se encuentran las limitaciones y las potencialidades de las PCD y la función de dichos sentidos en los procesos de constitución de subjetividades e identidades/alteridades en el caso particular del/la trabajador/a competitivo/a formal con discapacidad de Vialidad. A partir de los hallazgos de la investigación que articula las RS sobre discapacidad/es con las de trabajo, se reflexiona acerca de la inclusión social de las PCD y en particular sobre su inclusión laboral.
Este trabajo se enmarca en el proyecto de investigación tetra anual “Representaciones sociales sobre “salud” y “trabajo” y sus transformaciones en estudiantes universitaries de la carrera de Trabajo Social (UNLP). Un estudio de cohorte de cursantes de 4to y 5to año 2020-2021 respectivamente”. Fue acreditado y financiado en la convocatoria 2018 (UNLP). Su Unidad Ejecutora es el Instituto de Estudios en Trabajo Social y Sociedad (IETSyS) de la Facultad de Trabajo Social. Es el primer proyecto de investigación de la cátedra Salud Colectiva integrado por todas sus docentes, una adscripta, una estudiante, una docente de la FaHCE y una colaboradora externa. Nos proponemos dar cuenta del desafío metodológico enfrentado en contexto de pandemia (COVID 19) para dar continuidad a la investigación durante 2020, tomando especial consideración en la técnica de recolección de información grupal implementada en el marco de la virtualización de las clases. Nuestro objetivo consiste en describir y analizar de manera preliminar la actividad grupal desarrollada durante el segundo cuatrimestre de este año. Intentaremos compartir cómo planificamos la tarea, qué herramientas se utilizaron, cómo realizamos la convocatoria, cuáles fueron los momentos de la actividad y cómo se llevó a cabo para finalmente esbozar algunos resultados preliminares.
