Adding suitable quantity of polypropylene fiber is very effective for controlling plastic crack of cement mortar. During the experience stage, adding quantity of polypropylene fiber is 1.5 kg/m3, and crack rate of mortar is only 7.7%. Theoretical analysis is made for plastic crack mechanism of cement mortar, the results indicate that adding polypropylene fiber improves critical stress of crack expansion in mortar and notably reduces crack of cement mortar.
To obtain the critical quantity of Cl- content when magnesite products absorb the moisture and effloresce, some experiments were done about the effects of certain elements (the density of brine, the active content of magnesia, maintaining time and modifiers, etc.) on the moisture regain and bittern accumulation of magnesite products. By analyzing the content of water-soluble Cl- in magnesite products, the criterion was arrived at and thus the newest examining method, quantitative analysis method, was found out.
This paper demonstrates an energy-efficiency supervision and diagnostic system (ESDS) to illustrate problems that the buildings do not perform as well as anticipated during design stage. The ESDS consists of a set of sensors, data acquisition system, data analysis and diagnostic system investigated on a web-based remote access system that can be worked to identify problems in practice. The states of monitoring and diagnosing building operations including the electricity consumption、water consumption、overall evaluation of energy consumption and air condition system was analysed in detail. The results show that the energy efficiency of this large public building has great potential during the practice.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
