Comparative study of tomato seeds physiological quality hybrid and creole AbstractHybrid tomato seeds has its origin in improved genetically plants. By Side Other, plants that not for passed Improvement sophisticated protocols , but highly adapted to conditions Climate Specific are used by small producers. In this research, aimed to compare the physiological quality of seeds of tomato genotypes and hybrids, germination pattern and different tests. The materials used were hybrid genotypes Santa Cruz Bravo and Hybrid Plutão, and the Oroma Creoles and Fruit Orange, and these genotypes were divided in four replications for evaluation of physiological quality tests, which are done in completely randomized design. To assess the quality of seeds, they were subjected to determination of the degree of humidity, and were later carried out germination tests, length of seedlings (root, shoot and whole seedling), cold, emergence of seedlings and determination of fresh and dry matter. By means of the obtained results it is concluded that the germination of 'Santa Cruz Bravo', hybrid 'Plutão Oroma' and 'Fruit Orange' genotypes, are similar. However, the effect of genotypes derived from seeds with distinctive technology, hybrid 'Santa Cruz' and 'Plutão' and Creoles 'Oroma' and 'Orange', had change; and that the adoption of each genotype should be recommended according to technology and environmental conditions available by the producer.
