Objetivou-se conhecer a compreensão dos enfermeiros sobre liderança, bem como as estratégias utilizadas que facilitam seu exercício no ambiente hospitalar. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa do tipo descritiva, na qual foi usado o estudo de caso como estratégia de investigação. Participaram 25 enfermeiros que trabalham em hospitais de Florianópolis-SC-Brasil. As informações foram obtidas de maio a dezembro de 2010, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturada e oficinas dialógicas, e analisadas por meio da Análise Temática, emergindo dois temas: Compreensão dos enfermeiros sobre liderança e Estratégias que facilitam o exercício da liderança. Os resultados sinalizam que a liderança é uma habilidade relacional que contribui para o gerenciamento do cuidado, da equipe e do ambiente hospitalar, sendo potencializada pelo diálogo enquanto principal estratégia que facilita e fortalece o exercício da liderança do enfermeiro.
Objetivou-se conhecer o exercício da liderança do enfermeiro na Estratégia Saúde da Família, bem como as dificuldades e estratégias adotadas pelos enfermeiros para liderar. Estudo qualitativo, descritivo e exploratório realizado com 12 enfermeiros da Estratégia de Saúde da Família de Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul. As informações foram obtidas por meio de entrevista semi-estruturada, as quais foram analisadas por meio da Análise Temática. Evidenciou-se que o enfermeiro, enquanto líder é visto como um exemplo a ser seguido, responsável por contribuir com a motivação da equipe. Entre as dificuldades encontradas destacaram-se a falta de apoio pela gestão municipal, falta de perfil profissional, relações interpessoais conflitantes, sobrecarga e necessidade de um ambiente profissional saudável. Entre as estratégias foi exposto o trabalho em equipe, diálogo e escuta respeito interprofissional, as quais contribuem para fortalecer a liderança do enfermeiro neste modelo assistencial.
Objetivo: conhecer o exercício da liderança de enfermeiro(a)s que trabalham em unidades oncológicas. Método: pesquisa qualitativa, descritiva e exploratória. A coleta de dados ocorreu entre maio e junho de 2015, mediante entrevistas narrativas, submetidas à análise temática. Resultados: os participantes entendem a liderança como uma habilidade essencial ao enfermeiro que trabalha em oncologia, visto que facilita o gerenciamento do cuidado, da equipe e do serviço. Como elementos que dificultam a liderança, emergiram a evolução da doença e a repercussão dos seus agravos, a falta de apoio emocional e psicológico ao trabalhador e a existência de conflitos no ambiente de trabalho. O trabalho multiprofissional foi citado como um fator que facilita o exercício da liderança. Dentre as estratégias, destacaram reuniões e capacitações da equipe. Conclusão: o(a)s enfermeiro(a)s exercem uma liderança compartilhada em unidades oncológicas, por meio do estabelecimento de relações democráticas com os integrantes da equipe de enfermagem e multiprofissional.
Objetivo: conhecer a percepção de enfermeiros-líderes sobre o gerenciamento de conflitos no ambiente hospitalar. Método: pesquisa qualitativa e descritiva, em que participaram dez enfermeiros que trabalhavam em um hospital da região sul do Brasil. A coleta de dados foi realizada nos meses de outubro a novembro de 2014, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e analisadas conforme Proposta Operativa. Resultados: os conflitos de relacionamento foram os mais relatados pelos participantes, sendo causados pela falta de continuidade das atividades desempenhadas pela equipe de enfermagem e excesso de trabalho. O diálogo e a realização de reuniões foram as principais estratégias adotadas para minimizá-los. Considerações finais: para ser resolutivo, o gerenciamento de conflitos carece de maiores investimentos no ensino, durante a graduação.
