O presente estudo foi dividido em dois experimentos, onde no primeiro foram avaliados 13 atletas do basquetebol (16 a 18 anos) com objetivo de verificar a influência da aptidão física aeróbia e anaerobia sobre o aproveitamento de arremessos de dois pontos no basquetebol. Nesse experimento, concluímos que a aptidão física anaeróbia tem mais influência na porcentagem de acertos de arremessos. No segundo experimento foram avaliados 10 participantes (basquetebolistas de mesma faixa etária), com a finalidade de investigar a influência da pré ativação muscular sobre a potência de corrida e o aproveitamento de dois pontos no basquetebol e concluímos que a pré ativação muscular não influencia a porcentagem de acertos de arremessos, todavia, proporciona aumento na potência de corrida.
O objetivo do trabalho foi verificar o efeito do tempo após intervenção de potencialização pós ativação sobre a altura de salto vertical de basquetebolistas. Nossa hipótese foi que, na linha do tempo, existiriam faixas sensíveis as performances de salto. Os resultados confirmaram tal hipótese, sugerindo redução do desempenho nos tempos de 15s e 12min. Individualmente, entretanto, houve grande variabilidade da altura do salto em diferentes tempos após a PPA.
