-The cultural-based nation character education in the elementary school is aimed at implementing the education in its nature that is developing the human potential of students for their roles in the future. This national character education integratively combines the generic and specific potentials to solve and to face the problems of life. The value-based life-skills education in the elementary school is underlying the behaviour, characteristics, and attitude that is based on the succeed of students' future life. The giving of universal values such as honesty, respect, manners, hardworking, tolerance, and others become the core study for teachers' insights during their friendly interaction with students, for that reason, education in schools are so consciously designed and managed that the instructional process for students evoke the attitude and behaviour learning through the nation character education.
Irreversible pulpitis is a persistent inflammatory condition of the pulp, which can be symptomatic or asymptomatic caused by a nerve stimulus. Tooth with pulp inflammation need root canal treatment to remove irritants of bacteria and clean the infected root canal from necrotic tissue. Root canal treatment aims to keep the teeth functioning properly. Irreversible pulpitis symptomps include persistent spontaneous pain of an external cause. The stages of root canal treatment include: root canal instrumentation which includes cleaning and shaping (biomechanical), disinfection, and obturation. A 16-year-old woman came to RSGM Soelastri, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta with a complaint of a damaged restoration on her anterior teeth. The results of the 2018 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) show that 57.6% of the Indonesian population has dental and oral health problems, with the largest proportion being dental caries. This condition also occurs in children, where as many as 93% of early childhood in Indonesia experience dental caries. Dental care is difficult to do during the COVID-19 pandemic, making dental and oral health services prioritized in promotive and preventive efforts. Promotional actions can be taken to increase knowledge and get used to maintaining dental and oral health. Objective: to provide understanding and increase knowledge of dental and oral health for school-age children in Krikilan, Masaran, Sragen. Methods: The activity was carried out at SDN 2 Krikilan, Masaran, Sragen with interactive lecture methods and demonstrations using visual aids in the form of posters and dental models. Gifts in the form of toothbrushes and toothpaste were given after the presentation of the material and evaluation of the results of the counseling. Results: The children understand and can demonstrate how to brush their teeth properly and correctly and are able to explain when to brush their teeth properly. Conclusion: Direct counseling to children with active lecture methods and demonstrations of teaching aids is effective to increase children's knowledge about oral health. Kondisi ini juga terjadi pada anak-anak dimana sebanyak 93% anak usia dini di Indonesia mengalami karies gigi. Perawatan gigi sulit dilakukan pada masa pandemi COVID-19 menjadikan layanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut lebih diutamakan pada upaya promotif dan preventif. Tindakan promotif dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan membiasakan memelihara kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Tujuan: untuk memberikan pemahaman dan meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan gigi dan mulut anak usia sekolah di Desa Krikilan, Sragen. Metode: Kegiatan dilakukan di SDN 2 Krikilan, Masaran, Sragen dengan metode ceramah interaktif dan demonstrasi menggunakan alat peraga berupa poster dan model gigi. Pemberian hadiah berupa sikat gigi dan pasta gigi dilakukan setelah acara penyampaian materi dan evaluasi dari hasil penyuluhan. Hasil: Anak - anak memahami dan dapat memperagakan cara menyikat gigi dengan baik dan benar serta mampu menjelaskan waktu sikat gigi yang tepat. Kesimpulan: Penyuluhan secara langsung pada anak dengan metode ceramah aktif dan demonstrasi alat peraga efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak tentang kesehatan gigi dan mulut.
Abstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan soal-soal tipe HOTS dalam pokok bahasan induksi matematika pada siswa kelas XI IPA-1 MAN 2 Tidore Kepulauan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 21 orang yang kemudian dipilih wakil subjek sebanyak 3 orang berdasarkan pengelompokan tingkat kemampuan siswa yang dilihat dari hasil tes tertulis siswa yaitu siswa berkemampuan tinggi, siswa berkemampuan sedang, dan siswa berkemampuan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa berkemampuan tinggi mampu menyelesaikan soal HOTS pada pokok bahasan induksi matematika untuk soal nomor 1 dan 2 pada indikator analyze (C4), evaluate (C5), dan create (C6). Siswa berkemampuan sedang mampu mnyelesaikan soal pada pokok bahasan induksi matematika pada indikator analyze (C4), dan evaluate (C5) untuk butir soal nomor 1. Namun untuk butir soal nomor 2, subjek hanya mampu pada indikator analyze (C4), sedangkan pada indikator evaluate (C5) dan create (C6) siswa tidak mampu menyelesaikannya. Siswa berkemampuan rendah hanya mampu menyelesaikan soal nomor 1 indikator analyze (C4), dan tahapan selanjutnya tidak mampu diselesaikan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan siswa kelas XI IPA-1 MAN 2 Tidore Kepulauan dalam menyelesaikan soal tipe HOTS pokok bahasan induksi matematika masih rendah.Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Siswa, HOTS, Induksi Matematika.
