This is the first reported case of DPH dependence through the IM route. Second-generation antihistamines might be better choices for patients with psychiatric illness by reason of their lower effects on central nervous system and lower risk of abuse.
We present the CT and MRI findings in a 75-year-old woman with a huge pathologically proven lingual thyroid which underwent goitrous degeneration. CT and MRI showed a midline, tongue-based, exophytic mass with areas of necrosis and heterogeneous contrast enhancement, as seen in large goitres in the normal thyroid gland.
Epidermoid cysts are benign simple epithelial tumors usually appearing as hypoechoic lesions with scattered echogenic reflectors on sonography. Herein, we present a 53-year-old man with an extratesticular epidermoid cyst in the right scrotum which shows confusing sonographic findings, normal-appearing echogenicity of the lesion and atrophied testis, which lead to a diagnostic dilemma. With a variety of sonographic presentations in extratesticular epidermoid cysts, magnetic resonance (MR) imaging could play a complementary role in difficult cases.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
