This study showed that the new, combined ethinylestradiol/gestodene contraceptive patch was highly effective in reversibly inhibiting ovulation, well tolerated and regarded as 'very convenient' by the majority of users. This new, transparent, transdermal matrix patch is an attractive alternative form of contraception.
