Environmental education is the education activities in the environmental field that are organized by all levels of education. These activities are carried out in a structured and tiered with an integrated curriculum approach and as well as monolithic curriculum. In its implementation, there is a problem related to the low participation of the public to participate in environmental education due to a lack of understanding of the problems of the existing environmental education. The curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements regarding the purpose, content, and teaching materials and methods used to guide the organization of learning in order to achieve certain educational goals". Meanwhile, the 2013 curriculum states that the purpose of the curriculum is the development of the demands, needs and conditions relating to aspects of the community in educational output. The curriculum is designed based competency, that is the outcomes-based curriculum and therefore the development of the curriculum is geared to the achievement of competencies stated in the graduate competency standards. The learning system of the curriculum is based on the active learning approach that encourages students to do observing, questioning, associating, experimenting, and networking. Students are encouraged to find out not to be told (discovery learning). This article discusses environmental education which is set up in the Curriculum 2013 in Indonesia in terms of the broad aspects of the subject matters that are not just about national scope, but the output can meet the challenges of the world.
This research is to find out; the influence of e-readiness, e-learning, ebook on the achievement of graduates of diploma programs; and the influence of ereadiness, e-learning, and e-books on the achievement of diploma program graduates. The study population was graduates of the D3 Mechanical TechnologyStudy Program, Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta State University, the sample was the second semester of the 2016/2017 academic year. Data collection usesperceptual instruments for electronic readiness, e-books, and e-books, and relevant graduate GPA. The research method is a survey method with an associativeapproach. Data analysis techniques are simple regression, double freedom, and F test. The results of the study show; (1) there is no effect of e-readiness on Graduates' Achievement; (2) there is no influence of e-learning on graduate achievement; (3) there is no e-book effect on Graduates' Achievement; (4) there is no effect of ereadiness, e-learning and e-books together for the achievement of graduates. There is no provision in this study that can be interpreted that the curriculum developed by the D3 Mechanical Technology Study Program is in accordance with Learning Outcomes, especially in the implementation of the learning process.
Independent learningindependent campusLearning management system Wheeler-model based curriculum development.This research is a survey of vocational higher education curriculum based on Learning Management System (LMS) adapted to government policy of "independent learningindependent campus" (ILIC). Previous researches have advocated that educational curriculum must conform to any changes in education policy, scientific development, educational models, and labor needs. During the pandemic, Indonesia applied the new policy of online learning and implementing using an LMS. In this context, the objectives of this study were (1) to know the perceptions of lecturers and students towards LMS-based online learning, (2) to ensure conformity of Wheeler-Model based curriculum in producing graduates who meet the needs of workforce, and (3) to ensure conformity of government policies in vocational higher education programs. The sample constituted 16 lecturers and 61 students of Mechanical Engineering Vocational Study Program. The data was obtained using questionnaire instruments over the google form. The findings suggest that LMS is not carried out properly and facing issues of communication, variations in IT, network limitations and control of learning outcomes. An analysis of Wheeler-Model based curriculum development indicators showed that its objectives were fulfilled and the curriculum could still be used to produce graduates with good competencies required to meet the needs of the workforce. It also became evident that ILIC program were significant and relevant. This study recommends implementation of LMS needs to be improved and trained by lecturers and priority should be given to the relevant ILIC programs for vocational higher education (VHE) students in Indonesia. Contribution/Originality:The main contribution of this research shows that the application of LMS in vocational higher education (VHE) is relevant, as evident in the implementation of LMS-based learning during the pandemic. It also endeavors that Wheeler-model based curriculum within the ILIC policy contributes significantly and relevantly to VHE.
Matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang dianggap sulit oleh siswa. Hal tersebut terjadi karena kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep matematika. Kemampuan-kemampuan yang mendasari literasi matematis masih rendah dikuasai oleh siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis metode Team quiz dengan media konkrit dan kemampuan awal matematika terhadap kemampuan literasi matematik siswa SD. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis quasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang dilakukan adalah treatment by level. Teknik pengambilan sampel untuk responden dilakukan teknik probability sampling probability sampling dengan jenis sample random sampling sebanyak dua kelas yaitu kelas IVA dan kelas IV B SD sebanyak 64 orang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes literasi matematik soal essay. Analisis data dengan menggunakan ANOVA dua jalur. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, ditemukan hasil-hasil kemampuan literasi matematik siswa menggunakan metode Team quiz dengan media konkrit berbeda dengan kemampuan literasi matematik siswa yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran ekspositori. Kemampuan literasi matematik siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal matematika tinggi berbeda dengan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal matematika rendah. Maka, metode team quiz berbantuan media konkret ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematika.
This research is intended to find; (1) the influence of teachers on student learning outcomes; (2) the influence of commitment to student learning outcomes; And (3) the influence of teachers and commitment to student learning outcomes. The research population is all students of machining technique of Vocational High School 34 Jakarta and productive teacher, the sample is the 10th grade students of machining technique as many as 31 students and productive teachers as many as 12 people. The method in this research is survey method with associative approach. The study used secondary data technique with questionnaire; And primary data of learning result of even semester. Data analysis technique used is simple regression, multiple regression, and F test with significance level 0,05. The results showed; (1) there is a positive influence of teacher competence on student learning result F test of 17,15> F table 3,32 equal to 13,8%; (2) there is no positive effect on student learning outcomes test result F count 1.44> F table 3.32 of 1.6%; (3) there is a positive influence of teacher competence and learning commitment of student learning result of F count 5,65> F table 3,32, 31,02%.
