Dort maehte ieh eine reiehe Saturnlung, die ich allmi~hlich zu bearbeiten und deren gewonneneResultate dem entspreehend zu ver~ffentliehen hoffe. Einiges (Hydroiden, Spongien, Wtirmer) ist schon bearbeitet und theils ver~Jffentlicht, theils im Drucke. In dem VIII B. der Arbeiten der St. Petersburger blaturforseher-Gesellschaft habe ieh alle yon mir gefundenen, sowohl schon bekannten, als neueu SUsswasser-und Meeres-Infusorien, im Ganzen etwa 150 Arten, besehrieben. In der vorliegenden Arbeit will ich fast aussehliesslich die neuen yon mir gefundenen Formen beschreiben und dann die allgemeinen Sehltisse, zu denen ieh gokommen bin, mittheilen. Es schien mir niimlich ganz besonders wichtig und interessant zu entscheiden, ob wirklieh die Protozoenfauna versehiedener Meere so gleichf'6rmig sei, als es versehiedene Forseher anzunehmen geneigt sind.
