This article presents a clinical case of unilateral maxillo-zygomatic complex fracture in a patient with cleft palate submitted to surgical treatment at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology Service of the Bauru Hospital Complex (Brazil). Factors related to the aetiopathogenesis of the entity in question are discussed, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and correct management with the aim of minimising complications and sequelae.
