Results:Sociodemographic variables have an impact on the coping styles of patients with MS. When the relationship between coping and quality of life is examined, there is a positive correlation between the use of problem-focused coping strategies and quality of life, whereas there is a negative correlation between the use of emotion-focused coping strategies and quality of life. The scores of active coping, planning, use of emotional support, and use of instrumental support of patients who received social support were higher, whereas their denial scores were lower. Conclusions:According to the findings of our study, the sociodemographic attributes and social support mechanisms of patients have an impact on their quality of life, as well as the way they cope with MS. Kadın cinayetlerine ilişkin mevcut istatistikler kadınları hedef alan sessiz sedasız sürdürülen bir savaşın cinsiyetli yapısını ve medya temsilini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu çalışma; söz konusu savaşın varlığına yönelik farkındalık yaratmak ve medyanın haber söylemleriyle kadın cinayetlerini sıradanlaştırmasına karşı harekete geçerek mevcut sorunu, sosyal hizmetin bütüncül bakış açısıyla internet haberleri üzerinden değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. 2018 yılında yaşanan ve basına yansıyan 67 kadın cinayeti haberi; haber başlıklarında olaya yönelik tanımlamalar, fotoğraf ve video kullanımı, olayın meydana geldiği yer, cinayetlerin gerekçeleri, cinayetlerin işlenme biçimleri ve kullanılan araçlar, failin mağdurla olan ilişkisi ve kadınların maruz kaldığı şiddet geçmişi üzerinden kategorize edilmiş ve içerik analizi tekniği kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Kadına yönelik şiddet ve cinayet konulu haber içeriklerinin, sorunu tek boyutlu ele alma eğiliminde olduğu görülmüştür. Erkek faillerin suçları, motivasyonel kalıp yargılarla gerekçelendirilerek psikolojik ve bireysel tasvirlerle sunulmaktadır. Cinsiyetçiliği benimseyen ve meşru kılan söylemleriyle günümüz medyası, kadınların yaşam mücadelesini her anlamda zorlaştırmakta ve toplumsal cinsiyet odaklı haberciliği zorunlu kılmaktadır.
Policies regarding the social problems of individuals in the social environment, collective regulations for the change and development of society are macro social work practices. Macro social work practices are interpreted in different forms within each country's specific sociopolitical and cultural dynamics. In order for social workers to implement macro practices, they must have social policy knowledge. In this context, it would not be the right choice to take action without knowing which welfare regime Turkey falls within and without understanding the similar countries and the common characteristics. Moreover, as human needs increase and diversify, the desire to embrace the welfare state will also increase. The term welfare state, on the one hand, stands for strong and wealthy countries, and on the other hand, refers to states that offer social rights and social policies to its citizens at a high level. Nowadays, the most accepted, criticized and referenced source by the scientific circles is Esping-Andersen's welfare state classification. Esping-Andersen classified the social stratification in terms of the common characteristics of welfare states by taking market and family practices as a basis. In this respect, the study aims to summarize Esping-Andersen's welfare state classification in general terms. On the other hand, the desire to explain Turkey's position among the welfare states in terms of macro social work practices is the main concern of this study. The social work profession is an advanced profession and discipline within the social welfare field. In this sense, social services are generally public services oriented towards the problems and needs of the citizens regarding social functionality and can be discussed at the macro level with social welfare policies. In the following years, it is thought that comprehensive studies will be carried out on the welfare state and social policy in the social work field. In this study, it is aimed to scale university students' leisure time activities.
The distribution of contraceptive methods used was similar among the three age groups, but the absence of contraception was most frequent in the adolescent group. The adolescents we assessed, being married and having delivered at least once, are a highly selected group and not representative of adolescents in general. Nevertheless, their contraceptive choices did not differ from those of older women. The incidence of TOPs among them was quite high. Minimization of the frequent neglect of application of contraceptive measures by adolescents requires improvement of family planning services for this age group.
