During the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning process is carried out massively from home, on the other hand, higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) remain a priority for learning objectives, therefore it is necessary to ensure creative solutions to achieve it. Digital book is a learning media that is compiled by combining: 1) text, 2) animation, 3) audio, 4) video, which can be accessed easily and systematically via online. The development of this book aims to facilitate online learning during the covid-19 pandemic, then specifically to measure the level of validity, practically, and effectiveness in increasing students’ HOTS. This research was conducted in five stages: 1) analyzing, 2) designing, 3) development, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation (ADDIE model), while the instruments used were observation sheets, validation sheets, questionnaires, and essay tests. This research was conducted in class E and F, each consist of 35 students. The results of data analysis indicate that this book is in a valid and practical category. Furthermore, this book is very effective to be used to enhance student HOTS.
This study aims to: (1) improve the creative thinking skills of prospective teachers, (2) measure the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed electronic book. This type of research is research and development (RD) by applying the ADDIE model. This research was conducted through 5 stages: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The subjects of this study were students (prospective teachers) in the 5th-semester consisting of 55 people in the IT-based learning media course. At the same time, the object of this research was an electronic book developed based on TPACK. Several instruments were used: observation sheets, questionnaires, validation sheets, and essay tests. The results of data analysis indicate that the electronic book has met the requirements of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. In addition, there was a significant increase in the ability to think creatively.
Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) can be used as a reflection of the national economic condition of a country because it is an indicator to know the development the capital market in a country. Therefore, the movement in the future needs to be forecast. This study aims to build a model for the time series forecasting of Indonesia Composite Index (ICI) using the ARIMA model. The data used is the monthly data of ICI in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from January 2000 until December 2017 as many as 216 data. The method used in this research is the Box-Jenkins method. The autocorrelation (ACF) and partial autocorrelation function (PACF) are used for stationary test and model identification. The maximum estimated likelihood is used to estimate the parameter model. In addition, to select a model then used Akaike’s Information Criterion (AIC). Ljung-Box Q statistics are used for diagnostic tests. In addition, to show the accuracy of the model, we use Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and the most appropriate model is ARIMA (0, 1, 1).
: The Improvement of Students' Spatial Ability through Van Hiele Thisstudy aims to identify: (1) an increase in the spatial ability of students taught withVan Hiele Theory that is integrated with multi-media compared to the application ofthe direct instruction method. (2) the interaction between Van Hiele theory which isintegrated with multimedia improvement of. The population were all students of class VIII of junior highschool in two different schools consisting of 9 classes. Sample of 108 students aredivided into three group: visual learners, auditory learners and kinesthetic learners. The experimental group was subjected to Van Hiele theory which is integrated withmultimedia, while the control group was subjected to direct instruction model. Moreover, by using two-way ANOVA the results are as follows: (1) increasing of Van Hiele theory which is integratedwith multimedia better than direct instruction method. (2) There is an interactionbetween learning geometry based on Van Hiele theory integrated with multimediaand learning styles on increasing of students' spatial abilities. Furthermore, there is asignificant difference in spatial ability between students who have style visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. Keywords : Spatial Ability, Van Hiele Theory, Direct Instruction, MultimediaAbstrak : Peningkatan Kemampuan Spasial Melalui Penerapan Teori VanHiele Terintegrasi Dengan Multimedia Dengan Mempertimbangkan GayaBelajar Siswa.
