This research was motivated by the need to identify what is the relationship between organizational support provided by the Superintendence of the Public Administrative Expenses Management – SUGESP to its servants, the perception of servants of this support and to the concepts of sustainability. The general objective is to assess the relationship between the organizational support offered by SUGESP and the perception of employees. Theoretical aspects were addressed, such as the theory of Organizational Support, the conceptualization of the importance of employee satisfaction for the success of organizations, the Theory of Organizational Support, concepts of Public Administration and sustainable development. The methodology employed is quantitative approach, the search strategy used was the case study and study procedures were done through document analysis. Data collection was carried out by applying a self-administered questionnaire to a sample of employees working at SUGESP, as well as with the managers of the Superintendence. At the end of the research, it was identified that the average responses from the interviewed employees point out that they are indifferent to the perception of organizational support, while the manager, in the direct affirmative questions, identifies that the support offered is indifferent. In the inverse affirmative questions, he agrees that there is effective support. It was also identified that approximately 56% of the employees do not have a clear understanding of the concepts of sustainability, a fact that influences the achievement of objectives and goals defined by managers.
Esta pesquisa tem como problemática identificar as disciplinas em que, os discentes dos cursos de graduação do Núcleo de Ciências Sociais Aplicadas (NUCSA) da UNIR, possuem maiores dificuldades em alcançar a aprovação. O objetivo geral é analisar o desempenho nas disciplinas das grades curriculares dos cursos de graduação do NUCSA/UNIR das turmas ingressantes no período entre 2011 à 2014. Os objetivos específicos estão pautados em: realizar o levantamento dos discentes dos cursos de Administração, Ciências Econômicas, Ciências Contábeis, Biblioteconomia e Direito das turmas ingressantes entre 2011 à 2014; e, identificar as disciplinas que apresentam maior reprovação entre os alunos. A pesquisa constituiu-se em estudo de caso, descritivo, de abordagem mista, com levantamento de dados estruturados por meio de um estudo de corte e analisados utilizando-se de métodos de estatística descritiva. Utilizou-se ainda de pesquisa bibliográfica e análise documental. A base teórica é consubstanciada na teoria institucional combinada com o modelo de ação institucional para o sucesso acadêmico. A análise dos resultados apresentou entre as disciplinas que os alunos tem maiores dificuldades em alcançar aprovação estão as relacionadas à área de cálculo e o Trabalho de Conclusão de curso.
Governance relies on a set of principles, rules and procedures that stakeholders (the ones interested in the results and performance of the organization) establish to optimize the management of organizations. It was developed a research of applied nature and quantitative approach, where bibliographical procedures and surveys were used to reach the descriptive goals. The proposal was developed, in the first stage, by constructing a theoretical framework on governance based on literature and based on institutional documents and regulations. It has been found that Disclosure is an obligation to inform or give transparency of the product of strategies, policies and processes, Accountability is essential in mandatory reports and also as an instrument of transparency of acts spontaneously, and Compliance, that states that managers must ensure for the sustainability of organizations, through the goal of sustainability. The research findings reflect a disturbing reality regarding the involvement of managers in regard of the importance of the information to extractivists, as well as the qualitative nature of the information provided by the institutions. In the observation, the highlighted concept was accountability.
In the state of Rondônia, Extractive Reserves are spread over an area of 1,705,257 hectares, divided into twenty-one state reserves. Currently the reserves are in a situation of abandonment by the government agencies and it is on the basis of these findings that this research was developed to identify the vision that the heads of the families that live in the Extractive Reserves of the State of Rondônia have in relation to the management plans and support from government entities. Thus, the theoretical basis of the concepts of extractive reserves, the national system of conservation units, management plans and sustainable development were used to backup the application of questionnaires and interviews. This research was characterized as a qualitative research, applied and with the use of ethnographic methods. After the study, it was found that the inhabitants of the reserves themselves feel abandoned and thus seek the entry of new residents so that together they can be strengthened and can "enforce" the preservation legislation.
